I arrived at the store around 11:15 am and was looking to buy a Samsung note 4 but someone got the last 2, I had to wait 30 minutes to find out for sure. I went ahead to buy a Samsung S 5 so I could get a 200 dollar gift card with a old smart phone. With that said I was able to do an upgrade no problem. So the sales person wrote up a lease for the phone and the data plan was right. Here is when everything went wrong. Oh the lease does not do the 200.00 gift card. I said that is why I came there just for that. So she cancels out that lease and did the Sprint quick pay that did the 200.00 gift card. Now we are in this about 1 hour in half now. Had to cancel that took 30 minutes and then redo the contact. And program the card for the phone. 4 times! I had to sight 16 times. During this we were able to transfer all my data. Then they give me my phone and say is it ready. The sales person was nice and did get me a few things at employee discount, I get my phone go outside to the parking lot to call my boss and my phone does not work. It is now 2:15 I go back inside and tell them I cannot make a phone call they call Sprint and it took another hour and they reset my phone but to factory settings all the data we transferred was gone but now the phone works. I leave at 3:10 and drive home. To do the data transfer which take 45 minutes. And now my phone gets a network problem and drops calls. I was at best buy from 11:15 to 3:15 for a phone with good standings with Sprint should have been in and out in an hour. All for a 200.00 gift card from best buy. I want more than that a 200.00 gift card. I have to go back Sunday because my phone still does not work. This was not all sprint fault.

First - Best Buy sales associate tries to sell us Samsung washer. When we let him know that certain Samsung washers have been having problems (some exploding) he states thats not true and acts surprised. When we quoted from the Washington post from that week (as well as NPR) he tells us that those are not reliable sources. Then, machine was supposed to be delivered on the 5th. Given a time frame of 4-8pm to wait for the machine and left work early. At around 7, with no call, I check on line and it states there has been a delay because of a "back order" on the machine. But when I call the sales associate, he states that there is no back order. He states he will try get it delivered for the next day in the morning and will let us know soon. No call that night or the next day. I call at around 2:30 pm and speak to the manager. The manager states, he has to wait for the Best Buy delivery service to get back to him. He cannot call them and he cannot do anything whatsoever to move the matter forward . He, as manager has no ability whatsoever to do anything more then wait and because, as per him, Best Buy is a big company he cannot do anything else. We would just have to wait who knows how many days until they heard back from another part of their own company to advise when are washer might be delivered. So if you need something quickly like an appliance, beware - basically they will deliver it whenever it suits them if they deliver it at all. If you call to complain you will essentially be told - to bad, we are a big company and you will have to wait until it suits us.

CRUNKALLDAY -
The level of incompetence Ive encountered astounds me. Bought a printer and requested it be shipped to the store for pick up. Waited for a phone call or email 6 days past the day it was supposed to arrive. Finally called the store and spent >20 minutes navigating through automated prompts and waiting for someone to pick up the phone and never was able to speak with anyone. Drove to the store the next day and was told the order had been f#&%ing canceled. Checked my best buy credit card and sure enough the charge was still on there. They offered to reorder the printer but the manager made it very clear that this was low on his radar. I told them to just refund it and I would buy one from one of the many electronic stores near by and he had it put on a best buy gift card instead of putting it back on my best buy credit card. I was like "WTF man, are you so checked out right now that you think Im asking you to refund this so I can buy something else in the store??" No wonder best buy is shutting down stores all over the country. Good riddance.

IF you are looking for customer service, IF you are looking for any additional product information to what is on the box IF you want to physically handle the product DO NOT go to Best Buy. This is not the first time that I have had bad customer service at this location. Person did say they were paging someone to assist but just like last time, when they came by later and saw me standing by myself with no one around they asked, "Did anyone come by?" I guess if you are only wanting to spend $150 on your lunch break, they do not have people to help? The only reason to come to these guys is so you dont have to wait on over night delivery.

Dont get me wrong, Im a fan of BestBuy. But this isnt the location you want to shop at. Its one of their smaller stores, the Magnolia home theater area is tiny, plus they lack the larger Appliance Department. Ive also encountered situations where the front registers are not open and youre forced to check out at the customer service desk, which means you have to wait in line behind people who have service issues even when you want to buy something quickly. That just doesnt work. Youre much better off going to the location near Park Lane and 75, or Midway and 635. Theyll have better selection and better service.

If I could leave a 0 star, I would. I waited for 20-30 minutes for someone to assist me to answer questions about some of the electronics. Then I gave up and decided I would just do a return and come back when I had time. The lady told me I was out of my 15 day return period when I tried to do a return... Not even store credit?!? OK first of all why do you have a 15 DAY RETURN POLICY on items that havent been open? Second of all, it was a gift which means I didnt have 15 days. Then, I call the 1-888 # and they say its up to the store manager... What kind of tom foolery is this? SMH Never again Best Buy!

Tony is the best! They have never steered me wrong. Now their financing is shall we say -- crooks. Bought a tv and sound bar. took sound bar back. then got a bill for $3k. I sent them all the info for the returned sound bar and they have yet to credit the account back for $400. They said it has been reviewed and everything stands. As I explained, I bought the TV for 1999, plus tax and warranty, now how in the world can it be $3k. I even got the return receipts, and again they said thank you and everything stands! Not done with them yet. Actually will be filing a complaint with BBB and consumer affairs.
