GROCERY PICKUP REVIEW - 3 Stars Wife ordered groceries online, Im to pickup. This is what happened the first time we tried this. I"m provided a 1 hr window for pickup, in my case 1-2pm. Im told to call 15 min in advance to let them know Im going and then again when I arrive. So I made my first call. Someone answered. Told them Im on my way. I arrived and parked in first available spot for pickup. There were 10 spots, all empty, although another car arrived one min later. I called for 2nd time. No answer after 10-12 rings. Left VM. Waited 2 min. Went to only door; no exterior handle. Peered in window, saw 3-4 people. Knocked. Without opening door but peering thru window, someone says loudly to penetrate the thick glass, What do you want? I said I was here for pickup for Rose. Showed paperwork. They told me to go to my car and wait. I took 10 steps away from door and waited about 5 min. Then James came out w groceries, an introduction and handshake, and a sales pitch about how great this service is, how were going to get an email asking us to rate it and him. Tells me to rate him 5 if hes great, 1 if hes turr-able. And on and on. We just stand there at the back of car with the open trunk, James yakking. I start loading and empty 4 crates before James finally gets it and starts helping. Slow guy. Glad its only 75 degrees because if its 100, anything refrigerated would be baked. BTW - They were out of 4-5 items sold, confirmed and paid for. Im told we werent charged for those items. Wife will receive info on that in her email with a request for rating. I love the concept. Saves lots of time! Local execution was poor: 2 stars. We need to try again, see if it gets better. STORE REVIEW INCL AUTO SERVICES - 4 Stars Pretty good selection, reasonably clean, and employees are nice and helpful. Great prices on auto maintenance. Always get my car batteries replaced here. They carry Consumer Reports highly ranked, best-buy recmd batteries for good price and installation is free. Provide warranty credit when battery fails early due to brutal texas heat. I get an oil change for best price in town and new wipers for the price of the wiper in the store, installed for free.

Prices are no longer very competitive, they have a hard time keeping shelves stocked, and now theyre letting solicitors hang out in the aisles to harass you into stopping and hearing their sales pitch on cable tv or some other garbage. It was bad enough going to Walmart during Girl Scout cookie season, getting the hard sale from little girls wanting you to buy their low-quality cookies. Now you cant walk in Walmart without also getting some person trying to break the ice with you just to sell you something. I want to shop in peace, not get harassed. These folks dont seem to take "no" for an answer, and if you ignore them or wave them off they have an on-the-verge-of-an-insult comeback to barb you as you walk away to try to get you to come back and confront them so they can try to get any kind of interaction possible. Walmart is getting paid by these companies to let these solicitors hang out in their store, and I find it to be scummy behavior. Its bad enough the aisles are already crowed near fire-code hazard as it is. Then the the solicitors get someone reeled in and they all block up the aisle. Its turning into the nail in the coffin thats driving me away to other competitors. Theyre also doing it at Sams Club, because Walmart owns them and wants to pad their pockets with extra vendor revenue. I feel like Im on a vacation in Las Vegas again walking down the aisles constantly needing my guard up to tell another person to leave me alone so I can go about my business.

Tried to return a belt that didnt fit at thid location i had purchased back closer to my hometown of carrollton, Honestly just hoping i could exchange it for the next waist-size down; due to the fact that i had misgauged. Now, i have never atleast previously had any issue (generally speaking on a good day) exchanging any item more or less clothing, however, the clerk who didnt speak much English, (not an issue with me but adds to the general frustration and confusion) demanded i come up with a reason other than my eord, receipt, and plain example that it didnt fit and actually went as far as to grt another employee over into customer service to have her inform me they wouldnt accept my return. I Know i can try any other store and more than likely all will be well but it is the principle at this point. I know Walmart Loss Prevention follows their own interpretation of State (and federal) laws. (AND GETS AWAY WITH IT, TOO.) And that as a 23 year old male i can seem to be up to no good, yet every time i enter any walmart where Ive been a preffered customer for years i am followed as if i have already stolen something and now to this point as to where i am not allowed to have pants that simply fit well because i must be trying to run a scam?) Just avoid Walmart in general, but this one, the colony, TX, 121, montfort dr dallas, TX, ALL have particularly bad,and accusatory customer service.

Worst experience from management and I really dont expect much from any large discount company. But I had a very unusual situation that happened where I was demanded to return an item sold to me was a display. An associate was doing his job by helping me (THE CUSTOMER) buy a computer that was not in stock and trying to keep me happy by selling me the display. Upon returning it as demanded by management., I was told it was not the computer and they couldnt refund me. This was deemed untrue and after showing them the serial number, letter written from associate and the picture of the computer upon sale. they reluctantly gave me my money back. Which I didnt want...! I wanted the computer. I just called to get the box the next day when I was then told by Management to return it. Always two sides to every story, but I assure you I am uhappy with actually having to return something I wanted- Hopefully Anthony and Andrew did not lose their jobs because they helped me that night. They were so kind to assist me-

Be aware of Auto area, bunch of lairs (Mgr to tech): Brought my Sienna for BATTERY change, which took tech more half an hour to be able to put (for a good reason... continue). Other customers started calling out even why he is taking so long for Battery change. I drove almost 20 miles (home to work to Irving Walmart to this Walmart) that morning. Guess what they broke my radiator neck, didnt call out to state it to me. I came to know after I drove car for some distance and saw fumes, drove back and they claim it was already like that when vehicle came in.... Really? Their mgr James was not worth to be in that position, sorry for him to be so low in IQ to understand the facts! Distance car drove before & after service speaks for itself, do I need to say that? More interestingly when I asked for video, he denied and said only he can see it.... and he will call me... its been a month! Hello!! I had to towed my car to get it fixed... Be Aware.... dont go this place to rip off your pocket!
