Wonderful locally owned Austin General Store. The owner is actually in store quite often, hes very friendly, knowledgeable, approachable. The store is definitely well stocked with a broad range of items, from hardware, gardening/growing supplies, furniture, gifts, etc. But this is not like other stores that carry tons of items, those tend to carry cheap kitschy products. Zingers carries a lot of great quality items, some hard-to-find things you might only find online, and premium items as well. I could tell that the place was a labor of love, and that the owner really cares about what hes doing. Do check them out :)

Really awesome customer service. I was looking for some specific screws to go with an IKEA mounted mirror with little to no labeling on the instructions. A knowledgeable employee helped me by looking over the instructions and gave me his best guess on the screws. Also gave me helpful instructions on the roach traps I was holding. Would totally recommend this place!

I could spend hours in this store exploring all that it has to offer. When I am looking for something unique to give as a gift, Zingers seems to always have one that is the perfect fit. I only wish there was one closer to my home. Its likely best for my wallet that there isnt. I love this store!

From the outside its ridiculously run-down looking; I would not have even gone in except my sister-in-law bought something online and it was shipped there. Inside, its an honest-to-goodness, old time hardware store with a knowledgeable and helpful staff.

Cool, unique products for your home, or for gifts. Dont let the "hardware" in the name make you think youre just going to the equivalent of Home Depot. Check out the website, it gives you a pretty good idea what to expect.
