We had issues just trying to get our sink and faucet installed. Employees have issues with their training. They wrote our information for installation twice on paper! The management tried to help, but I really felt kind of "handed-off" from one to the next. Of couse, that could be because it took over a week to simply schedule our installation time. Yes, over a week just to schedule. When the installer did call, she was very rude and exasperated. All I wanted was someone to help install our sink and faucet that we purchased. I had to call five times, drive up there twice just to fix THEIR mistakes. We have much more home improvement projects that we will be working on in the next two months and unless it is proven that training has happened and customers can be treated with respect, Home Depot Georgetown will be not be the ones getting our business.

This store has plenty of employees in the store at any given time. The lumber department is the worst place in the store. Half of the 1x lumber isnt even priced. Im standing here at the saw needing a couple cuts done. I have already placed the lumber I need on the saw. There have been 5 different employees walk past me at least twice each in the past 10 minutes. One is actually standing next me now on his cell phone. And.....he walked off without a word and I was looking at him in the eye. Pathetic customer service in the lumber department. They are all working on pulling contractor orders and cant stop for just a minute. If I hadnt spent 30 minutes here earlier trying to get the same lumber, I would be heading to Lowes. I want my lumber to match though.

Well Im happy there are people in Georgetown that like their Home Depot but this one is no better than any of the others, anywhere in the U.S. They are all the same. Employees would rather stand around and talk than help you with your needs. They dont want to help you and seem put out when you ask them for help. It is uncommon for an employee to ask if you need help, they can be standing 10 feet from you and you still have to ask them. Customer service, as a whole, has gone down the pooper. (thanks to the millennial generation that is now considered "the workforce"). We are in sad shape having to deal with these knuckleheads on a daily basis.

You dont appreciate what great employees and management this store has until you move away. We have been contractors and landlords in Georgetown many years.and have relied on a staff of long term employees eager to help. Our favorites are Max in the middle and Mark in appliances. We now live in Galveston and Home Depot there is pathetic. No one one ever wants to help, new stock sets on the floor clogging the isles, and the shelves are empty. When you need anything up overhead pulled down it takes an act of God. You dont know what you have until its gone!

I love Home Depot, but really dont enjoy visiting the paint department. The same lady has worked in the paint department for quite a while. She lacks in any customer service skills and has a bad attitude. She waited on me finally and never once said ONE WORD. A few years back, she took a personal cell phone call and walked to the back instead of waiting on me. Im not sure what the deal is, but I feel like Home Depot can do better. Put her in the plant department, maybe the flowers and such will make her more pleasant.

Dont come to this Home Depot unless you know exactly what you want and where to find it. Currently circling the store looking for an employee to help me find the correct SCREW I need. I asked the assistant manager in the aisle to help and his response was "Im sure that gentleman over there can help you with that." Absolutely deplorable customer service. Will CC to Yelp.

Decent enough place to shop. Good selection in all areas,. BUT..you cant get around. Merchandise displays stacked in every isle makes it impossible for two carts to pass. Its an agrivating stressful shopping experience. I prefer local stores to online shopping, but after this afternoons experience I went home empty handed and shopped on my PC.

DO NOT use Home Depot for their "72 hour carpet install". Mine has turned into TWO WEEKS, and wasted one full day of my time waiting for the installers that never showed up, and including the 3 trips into the store I had to make to re-select which carpet I wanted. I feel like I am dealing with the most incompetent people on the planet.

The Customer Service staff person and the Lawn and Garden associate who helped me today deserve 5 stars, all the way around. Not only were they helpful, but it was clear that they actually cared about whether a particular issue was resolved satisfactorily. I dont often find that in the Big Box stores. This Home Depot is different.

No large signs hanging from the ceiling so you can find what you what without wondering around in the store. The only sign they have is in the lumber department. REALLY........anyony that has ever been in a Home Depot knows where the lumber is located. I go here ONLY when I dont have time to go to Lowes in Round Rock or Hutto.

Vivian in Kitchen and bathroom cabinets was extremely knowledgeable and helpful even when problems with cabinets arose. Also the customer service was great as I ordered several remodel items online and picked up in the store. Customer service has improved greatly!

They have a ladies night here! The next seminar for women helps guide you through installing a garbage disposal. Need a housewarming gift? Visit their garden area and pick from one of many unique plants they have on sale. I chose an inexpensive rubber plant for $6!

Terrible service, I shop Home Depot because they have always taken care of me and my fellow vets, with specials & discounts. They market themselves as a pro military company, but they didnt honor my veterans status today. Im done shopping there.

Ive been a DIY guy for years and the only place that rarely doesnt have what I need in tools or materials is this Home Depot. I deal with the staff daily and never once felt like they were unhelpful. I highly recommend this store!

Love the store, good products, employees are helpful. But dont get a home Depot credit card. Cause if you pay off your debt to them they get pissed off and will not let you use the credit card.

Usually has what I need. Store is generally clean and well organized. I especially like the veterans discount and special parking. They appreciate veterans with deeds, not just words.

Great customer service, always someone walking around ready to help you with your needs. And most all the staff is knowledgeable in their department. My store of choice in the area!

The rental dept was terribly unhelpful, truly terribly customer service. On the other hand, the garden center was very pleasant to work with.
