Harbor Freight is a Jekyll and Hyde kind of store. Tons of tools and gizmos at a great price. But quality is the problem. This is where you buy a tool that you are only going to use occasionally and not a place to buy professional industrial equipment. It is the place to buy small ticket items, like gloves, zip ties, screwdrivers, sandpaper, drop clothes, air bits, automotive pullers, magnets, glue sticks, etc. But they sell large ticket items, i.e. air compressors, table saws, winches, mechanic tool boxes, presses, etc. Be careful with these items. Check the quality first. Look for their sales circulars and email list to save big bucks.

The customer services has generally been good when my family has gone to Harbor Freight. The tools are great for lighter jobs around the house and are more affordable. They are not as durable as the pricier tools that you will find elsewhere, but you have to take the price difference and type of project into consideration when deciding which tools to buy.

My Dad sent me in to find a few things he saw on sale while I was in Norman. The man that helped me was so very helpful and with his help I found everything that I needed. I feel you get much more help from these guys than I ever have in a Home Depot.

Harbor Freight is a great place for cheap tools. The staff is helpful and friendly and helpful. The tools can occasionally leave something to be desired, however the in house brand, Pittsburgh Tools, have a lifetime warranty and swapping out is a breeze

I love this place. I do tons of work on my car in addition to knife making. This is my go to place for tools because of the selection and great prices. I just wish it wasnt so far from my house.
