Came in to purchase a appliance asked about price matching manager came up with a excuse about why he couldnt and wouldnt do anything. So I decided to purchase it anyway go around back get told they cant find it and didnt have any alternatives. Also that I would have to drive back 30 minutes the next day to return it because they had closed the front register. Ended up getting them to give me money back after complaining. But to top if off as I leave the loading area the security guy look at the ticket confused that I didnt have anything. Then replies well no one told me anything about this and it was probably just them being lazy and not wanted to get it. Avoid no customer service at all.

I visit Menards several times a week while I remodel my downstairs kitchen and the people there have saved me hours. I had to do some plumbing (that I was especially clueless about) and the the guy in the plumbing section(Ruben I think) basically took me around the isles and showed me everything I needed and how to use it. It honestly saved me hours of headache trying to do things wrong. I also love the fact that if I buy anything at Menards and it goes on sale in the next 2 weeks they give you a credit for the difference.

Customer service is all but nonexistent - I walked around for 30 min and found 1 customer service rep on the floor -- and he had no idea about grills. Unlike Lowes and Home Depot they dont give a military discount - guess they have something against the military They have a lot of unique items and a lot of junk and in Yankton it appears to all be self service

Good prices and very large selection of home improvement items. Staff can sometimes be hard to find when I have a question about an item, or trying to find something.

There is no sense hanging up a sign that states "we will open another checkout if there are two or more people in line" if you are not going to do it.

Hard to find help inside store. Store dirty. Interminable wait at pick up, even with the extra hour we gave them. Frankly dangerous at pick up.
