Very positive. I was looking for a tub faucet handle for a really old faucet stem. I couldnt get it at Lowes. I tried Locke, and they dont carry faucet handles, but the manager asked me to try at Ace Hardware. I took the old stem to Ace Hardware, and the sales persons were really helpful. Kudos to the young guy who measured the stem groove and suggested that I should try the handle with the "J" broach. Luckily they had it. They fit the tub faucet stem perfectly. Thank you guys for your efficient and very courteous help.

Scolding a customer, for stepping over to look at the decorative keys, when you have them hidden behind your key machine, with no sign to inform the customer that this is act is inappropriate to even begin with, is just plain rude. This was not even close to being helpful in any form. I thought Ace was the "helpful hardware store"? I guess not.

The store itself was fine, but I caught the manager on duty saying rude things about my family as we were walking out. I confronted him about it before leaving, and he admitted that what I heard was correct. I told him he was rude for talking about his customers that way and promised wed never send business to their store again.

They have a younger guy that really knew his plumbing and helped me find the appropriate fittings. I came in the next day and they asked about the project and how everything turned out. Its usually a pleasant experience.

I needed a few nuts and bolts. I went in, was greeted and the guy helped me to find what i needed. Then the kid who checked me out was friendly and conversational. If i need more hardware this is where Ill go.
