Horrible experience with the dog trainer. Will no longer be doing ANY shopping at Petco. 1. I was required to pay $100 upfront. After full payment, I was told to fill out a form with my top dog issues (barking and potty training). I was then told that the trainer could not help me with either of these issues after I had already paid in full. 2. During the first session, the puppy trainer shoveled treats for an hour and a half nonstop into my 5 pound puppy. He puked all night. During the second session, when I asked her to please reduce the level of treats used, she told me that when she trains her own dog, she expects to have to clean her sheets full of dog puke afterwards, and that I should expect the same. 3. The puppy trainer was 10-15 minutes late showing up for our second session. I asked two store employees if they knew if she was coming in and they simply responded "no" and continued to chit chat with each other while I waited on one of their own employees. The "trainer" is actually a high school student who seems to have little affiliation with the store. 4. Prior to the third session, I was sick and had to reschedule. I messaged the puppy trainer and havent heard from her since. When I tried to call the store to reschedule, they told me I had to call the trainer directly to schedule appointments. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON PETCO DOG TRAINING.

Horrible experience with a guy in the Fish department. Traveled to my closest PetCo on Saturday, July 27th around 12pm, which is over 10 miles from my home. My fiancé and 2 daughters, ages 7 and 11, were with me. The kids were complaining about the smell of the store because there was a very strong/unpleasant odor from the moment you walked in the front door. One of the fish had a deformity and was in the shape of an L. The kids were poking fun at this fish, like kids do. My fiancé asked the attendant if we could have 2 different species of fish in the same tank and he was extremely rude. He said he was eavesdropping on our conversations and that HE WOULD NOT BE SELLING ANY FISH TO US. He was very rude and very unprofessional. I will never shop at PETCO again! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON PETCO FISH.

A manager was berating and threatening to write up an employee in the middle of the check-out lane, in front of multiple customers. Not only is this unprofessional behavior uncomfortable for customers, it affects employee morale and tarnishes the brand.

Best petco I have been to. Friendly staff, healthy animals. Petsmart is still better in my opinion but this petco in particular seems a lot better than most. I drove from Burnet just to shop at this one. I bought a fancy female rat and she is gorgeous!

Really enjoy the quality of care when I take my pug to get groomed at this Petco. Becky B. is the only one I trust with my dogs. She is awesome!

This is my least favorite Petco in town. They always seem to be out of stock on things and the staff is rarely friendly.
