Lofty Dog is the best place in North/Central Austin to get food, treats, and toys for your dogs and cats! They focus on stocking local brands and premium quality food. Employees are knowledgeable and always happy to help if you dont quite know what you need. Their prices might be rivaled by bigger stores, but you absolutely get your moneys worth. They are also very involved in the Austin community, and hold many events for things like local shelters. Lofty Dog is committed to serving the community, and are definitely worth supporting their business!

The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly over the phone. Since we were going camping and they were the only pet store selling cot beds for dogs I called and asked if they would set one aside for me and they were kind enough to do so. However, they sold me a bed that was obviously a return. The instructions were mangled, and all of the parts had been taken out of the plastic, but the plastic was left inside. if they had warned me up front that it was a return I probably would have still gotten the bed, hence the four stars instead of three.

We absolutely love Lofty Dog and our dogs do too. They are always super nice, friendly and knowledgeable. Wednesdays are always 5-10% off and the frist Thursday of the Month is Poochinis & Peticures where you can get free nail clippings and many other services as well as a nice drink for dog owners. Prices are cheaper or at least comparable so why go to one of the giant stores who dont care about you?

This place is Amazing! They have everything for a dog and the staff is super helpful as well. They have a wide variety of dog beds, dog toys, and treats. Its conveniently located next to a lot of really great restaurants and the Alamo Drafthouse. I really love to go to this place even to just look around. I feel like i see something new every time!

Absolutely love this place! Great selection of everything one would need for their dog. I got the best running leash I have ever had and the gentleman that helped me find what I was looking for was very knowledgeable and very helpful.
