One week before my daughters wedding reception I brought her wedding gown in to Jack Brown Cleaners for touch-up cleaning, where they assured me they have a special person on staff who does nothing but gown cleaning, so I would expect perfection. When I picked up the dress, it was all but ruined. Iron burns, and rips, and seam frays! In desperation, I brought the dress by Alexia Gavela Bridal to ask for their expert help. They took the dress, and within the week, fixed it up like new! Every single person I spoke to in the store that day was incredible! They were incredibly polite, sympathetic, and professional. They didnt skip a beat to make sure the dress was fixed. Clearly, their alteration staff is awesome as well. While there, I took a look at their dresses. They have a beautiful selection! I am in the wedding business myself, so I know good bridal service when I see it. They can not be beat! Take my advice, in your search for bridal wear, be sure and go there. They are fantastic!

I could not have asked for a better experience when searching for the perfect dress. Geri "saw" my vision and helped me create the perfect dress. Alexia Gavela was our first stop, and we came back for not only the perfect dress, but also the wonderful, helpful, and classy experience. Geri had such a good eye and reminded me how I felt in “the one” when I was trying to convince myself otherwise. We visited four other bridal boutiques in the Austin area, and were extremely disappointed in the service and attitudes of the consultants. We went back to Alexia Gavela and ordered my dress. I would recommend this salon to anyone.

I tried on about a million dresses and finally found mine here. I couldnt be happier with the dress, it was just what I was looking for and a good price (around $900). The customer service was OK sometimes, Geri was nice but usually busy, and one of the girls was just plain unfriendly. I would recommend getting your alterations elsewhere because I felt that theirs were overpriced and not absolutely perfect as you want your wedding dress to be. You should also check out Unbridaled-- they had a great selection and were super nice, I just didnt find the right dress there. Good luck!

I used Alexia Gavela for my bridal alterations only. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful in deciding how to hem my dress. It was different in that it was an ivory tulle dress with a lace overlay that needed to be pinned onto the dress. They loved the look so much that they ordered overlays for their in house dresses to try! I mean, I know I loved my dress but it was just so special to know that professionals in the business did too. Small place with a big heart!! Love this place!!

Geri is very helpful and really goes above and beyond. I changed my shoes 2 weeks before the wedding and had to have the hemmed shorted and the bustle redone. They were able to accommodate my tight schedule, and completed the work ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this boutique.

Geri and the team are fabulous! Geri just has the vision and touch to make you look gorgeous. The seamstress is amazing as well. They took great care of me, and I knew I was in good hands for my wedding day. Highly recommend.

Geri was very nice! Go see him! It was difficult to see all the inventory though. The dresses were kind of crammed on the racks. Thats why I gave it 4 stars.
