I have had a horrible experience with this store. Long story short they ruined my wedding dress. I am here 18 days before my wedding terrified if I am going to have a dress to walk down the aisle in. My dress is now so mangled that the fairy godmothers themselves would not be able to fix it. I am getting the run around and losing time and faith. I am hoping this catches someones attention or stops another bride before she makes the same mistake I did. Overall, in the beginning they did a great job helping me find my dream dress. But when it came to actually getting the dress that is another story. I was measured and told to get a dress 2 sizes larger than I normally wear. I protested a little but they told me sometimes for wedding gowns you run larger. So I TRUSTED their expertise. When my dress arrived for my first fitting I was excited, then when the dress was so large I could fit a whole other person inside I was worried. They ended up having to take in 4 inches on each side and major alterations across the bodice. Adding an additional $500+ in alterations (racket) I was again worried. When my second fitting came I was no longer worried I was pissed. The dress I saw in the mirror was not the one that I feel in love with or the one I had tried on previously. They had completely changed the shape of the dress. It was no longer drop waist and flattering. It was high-waist and puffy. I had lost weight since ordering my dress and it make me look 30 lbs heavier. They ordered the dress with extra length since I am 61" and it did not come with extra length. Also the bottom hem of the dress it jagged. In some spots it touched the floor and in some spots it is 2 1/2 inches above it. The alterations did not involve anything below the hips so there is no reason there should be tulle missing. The more I look at the pictures I took in the dress the more upset I get. No bride wants to feel anything but beautiful on her wedding day. I keep getting the run around and no one will accept the blame and offer the solution that needs to be given. ***I am hoping that this desperate plea reaches someone in Alfred Angelo Corporate or someone who had the power to make change quickly. I have some very unflattering pictures of my mangled dress that I will post if I do not have my problem fixed quickly.***

I will admit that if you had asked me a week ago, one star would have been the max. A little background. Went into Arlington location in January, glowing because I recently found out I was expecting a baby. My friends wedding is end of May. So I was going to have a nice little baby bump of 5 months and placed on order a maternity bridesmaids gown. Two weeks ago I found out our babys heart had stopped beating and that I would soon miscarry or need surgery. I started calling the store two days after this news to cancel and order a gown same as the other girls, left 3 detailed messages and never got a return phone call until this past Friday. I had explained my situation to several young ladies who answered, that I no longer needed a maternity gown and due to their long order times needed to get the same dress as the other bridesmaids on order. I received a phone call finally from Theresa the assistant store manager, who had just been informed of my situation last Thursday. She was very kind and empathetic. She called me back the next day with news that they would be unable to exchange the gown, but I could order another to match the others at cost. This just angered me. I know that there is a final sale only clause, but this was not a matter of changing my mind about the type of dress or being fickle, this was extenuating circumstances that would have me in a maternity dress, when not pregnant, and looking like a sore thumb in the line up. I dont hold the matron of Honor or Maid of Honor spot, that warrant looking a little different. Im sure many of you understand. And for my emotions, putting on that maternity dress, when not prego, would just break my heart all over again. So I went into the store, and spoke with Alisha one of the managers in person. She was very kind as well. And they tried again. Thank you to Theresa for working so hard with their district managers and corporate office, they allowed me to exchange the dress, pay the difference for the new dress. This touched my heart so much, even though it took several phone calls to get a response. But Alisha and Theresa were sympathetic and kind to the loss of my baby. Thank you to them for all the help!

I live in the Bishop Arts area where we are getting married and looked for the nearest Davids Bridal locations. All of them had really terrible reviews on Google and I just didnt want to have a bad experience, especially since we didnt need too much anyway. I decided to start looking for other bridal boutiques and saw Alfred Angelo had MUCH better reviews- so I picked that as a starting point instead. I already had my BCBG dress that I scored at an outlet and just needed to accessorize it without making a huge affair of it. The first belt/sash we picked out was just perfect and Teresa helped me remember things I honestly hadnt thought of yet, and just generally was extremely sweet and fun. The bridal party is all wearing blue suede shoes... and apparently Teresa is a fellow Elvis fan which was AWESOME! I felt like she almost teared up a little because they share a birthday... it was a super awesome moment. We just took my mom to Graceland this summer prior to the wedding so it was nice to run into someone who appreciated what we wanted to do with the ceremony. Not having my mother with me, I felt like I was with family. Were having a fairly casual and non traditional wedding at the Kessler and she didnt try to put me in a box that we simply dont fit in. My daughter (the 10 year old maid of honor) and I genuinely enjoyed the shared experience and Id recommend Alfred Angelo to anyone. What a nice way to wrap up my wedding shopping :-)

Teresa at Alfred Angelo is AMAZING and we had the BEST experience there. This afternoon, the bride and two of her bridesmaids (myself included) went to Davids Bridal for a dress "fitting" (if you could even call it that) and we had the worst experience (we werent sized or measured [basically pick a size and go with it], staff was rude, and only AFTER we paid money for the dresses (we asked how long it would take originally and they said they "didnt know") were we told that it would take 15 weeks (mid May) for the dresses to come in - the bride is getting married June 4th, with alterations taking up to two months - so what...July? AND after we asked for our money back, we were told that there were no refunds - wonderful). We went outside and I suggested maybe we try Alfred Angelo as I had a great experience there when I got married. The other bridesmaid called immediately and reach Teresa. She was very accommodating and got us in immediately. When we got there, she was very attentive and picked wonderful selections for the bride to choose from as far as bridesmaids dresses go. The bride picked the perfect dress and was so happy! We had such a wonderful experience and even better - the custom made dresses would be in at the beginning of April, with alterations taking two weeks. Everything worked out and the bride was ELATED (which is all that mattered!)!!
