TLDR: Was told 1.5 hr wait, returned to no resolution. Asked to wait shortly for them to resolve, waited in the lobby for 2+ hours with no updates or details, asked to pay for a new charging port, I told them that was impossible since mine was charging, they ordered a new battery. I returned to drop off my phone a week later and asked for a notification email because of past experience, never received it, stopped by 2 hrs later and fortunately the battery had been replaced - only reason for not a terrible review. My phones battery life had degraded significantly since when I first bought it, so I took it in to get it replaced. The gentleman who helped me that day was the store manager. He was clear and direct, but not very friendly. He told me that the phone should be ready within an hour to an hour and half, so I worked from the Starbucks and returned within an hour and a half. I was told it would be a short wait that ended up being two additional hours sitting at their store. The gentleman would attend other customers and wouldnt provide me any updates as to what he was doing or why it was taking so long. So four hours from when I dropped off the phone, the issue wasnt resolved and he proposed replacing the battery charging port since none of this replacement batteries were working. Since my battery had been charging properly up to this point, I refused and instead suggested trying another battery. I was told they could order a new battery to try out the next day, but I had to travel so I returned nearly a week later. On this second visit, I was told the same thing (hour and a half wait), but instead of waiting nearby, I asked them to email me when the phone was ready, seeing as how I waited three to four hours last time. I ran to the grocery store, caught the new HOC at home, and ate dinner with no email within two hours. I headed back to the store and it turned out the phone was ready. The second experience was much better (the reason I gave them three stars and not worse), but there was still a lack of communication. Luckily, the new battery worked. I really hope my experience is an isolated one. If not, I would recommend they improve their communication to the customer when issues arise and customer service. If they had done this, I have no doubt they wouldve earned a 4-5 star review.

I needed to extract the info from my phone before I ship it back to the insurance, I came in Saturday afternoon I told him I was in a rush he told me it might take a couple of hours for him to just take a look I couldnt wait that much so I told him Ill go to a different place so he told me I could pay rushing fee of $20, he told me he would even do it for $10, which is on top the 45$ they charge you. After an hour he didnt even look at my phone telling me he was busy with walking customers, I told him it wasnt cool but it was already too late , I told him Ill come pick it up Monday and he said he will take care of it. Monday I waited until 11am and I didnt get a call , I called him and he said he will call me back in a couple of hours, at 3:30 I called him to check whats going on and he put me on hold telling me that he with a customer in the store after 8 min on hold I drove over there while Im still waiting on the line . I got there and he wasnt even at the front and no customer was there, he told me another 2 hours, after 3 hours he didnt call me I called him and he said that he check with the wearhouse and they didnt have the part. I came back to pick it up and asked for a refund since I lost all my contacts info due to the fact he could fix my phone and I didnt have time to go to a different place since I had to ship it back . He wouldnt give it to me , so I asked for at least the 10$ rushing fee , he said he wouldnt give it ad well since I agreed to it, although they didnt fix it Saturday. I lost $55 and all my contacts, photos and important information just because I was counting on these people. I would never get near , definitely wouldnt sign this 45$ ( just for taking a look , fixing the phone will be much more) in advanced paper they use to rip people off. I wish I went on yelp before walking in , those reviews are probably fake!

After entering with a working screen, I left with a broken one. I did not ask for them to repair anything to do with the screen. I asked for a replacement of the charging port, back glass and camera lens. I am fairly sure they almost tried to take my sim card. I have a samsung galaxy s6 that is not OEM however that does not mean the lcd screen will spontaneously lift on one corner and bleed the screen to death. I now have to guess where everything is on my phone and use voice commands. The first day I got it back from them they said I had broken it but pointed it out. I was shocked and decided I could live with it but the next morning the phone screen completely died. If this was a problem beforehand the phone screen would have already been dead. The owner refused to replace the screen without me paying for it and on top of that he needs a deposit for him to order the screen! turned a working phone into a broken one and wants 300$. I am disgusted by the scam they are running here and will be filing better business reports with those who have had the SAME experience! They also sell peoples information, please avoid this location. The one who so ignorantly broke my phone was named alex at the Addison location.

I was duped by these google reviews. I dont care to do low reviews unless the service is just exceptionally bad. This place is bad because they just cannot fix anything. I took my phone in on October 21 for broken screen repair, power button repair and a muffled speaker. By October 27, the phone had been back to This place 3 times. The power button fix is questionable. The speaker was never repaired despite me being told it was repaired then upon returning to the store for non repair it would cost another $60.00.The screen repair is just subpar. The screen was not glued or taped down correctly to the phone and the lower half of the screen has lifted from the phone. I have returned the phone 4 times for the lifting issue. 4 times it was returned to me as repaired. I have now taken my phone to what hopefully is an actual repair service m(11/9/2016) The issue cost me $179.00 and the phone still cant be used. They offer a lifetime warranty but how many times in the course of 2 weeks should I have to return the phone for a warranty repair. On one occassion, the phone was not read for pick up when promised.

(MISSING PARTS AND SCREWS AFTER REPAIR) It took a month for them to fix my phone. A whole month. Not only that, but I recently dropped my phone for the first time after getting it fixed here a few months ago. I now live out of state and took it to another repair shop. After the drop, my phone wouldnt charge so I thought I had damaged the charge port. Upon opening up the phone the other repair shop told me my phone was MISSING plates and screws - that the reason my phone stopped charging is because it was missing the pieces that hold the charge port in place, so when I dropped it, the charging pieces separated from the rest of the phone and all they had to do was re-attach it and ADD BACK the missing pieces to prevent it from happening again. How does a repair shop not put the phone back together correctly, especially considering they kept my phone for a whole month to complete the repair? What a joke - avoid this location at all costs.
