I accidenlty dropped my phone during my vacation in Addison and found this company on google and thought it looked pretty good. I first went in on saturday, and they said that the repair would be done in 2 hours, i payed the $149,99 for the glass replacement. I fetched the phone like 5 hours later and it looked good. However the next day the glue had released from the display making a huge row of "bubbles" in the low right corner of the screen. I went in the following day and showed the phone to the staff in the shop and he said that it wasnt properly heated before returning the phone to me. He said that the glue they use is much harder so it would take atleast 4 hours to remove the glue and re-glue the display. Since i had to go home the day after i asked them to replace the entire lcd-screen instead (adding $108 on the price) and he sait that then i would get my phone the same day after an hour. So we left and returned 3 hrs later and the staff-member said that he needed another 25minutes to replace the whole lcd. After waiting in the store for 30 minutes or so, he comes out and asks me if i could take a white screen instead for my black/blue galaxy s4, and i said that i want the original color since they charged me full price. Then we waited another 30 minutes and he said that he was all done. However he had put on a display that didnt fit on my phone and it was also refurbished. So the $249 repair was for a non fitting refurbished screen which left a 5 mm gap on the side of the phone where dust and water could easely get in. Ofcourse i declined the repair asking hin to get a proper new screen that fit on my phone. Then he made a call someplace and talked to somebody for a few minutes, then returned to me and again asked me to go with the white screen which i had already told him that i didnt want. At this point i was pretty frustrated and asked for my money back since they still hadnt fixed my phone and 3-4 hours had passed since i left the phone there for a 1h repair. The staff member then called his manager (apparently on the frisco store) on the phone which replied that they could not give me a full refund since they had replaced the glass the other day (with the bubbles under it). The manager would not speak to me and just left the staff member to deal with the issue and not give me a refund. Since it was my last day of the vaccation and i did not plan to spend the whole afternoon arguing i took the $108 additional that i payed for the full lcd panel replacement and walked out the door. When i sat in the car the phone wouldnt find the simcard, so i went in again to talk to the staff member. He then replied with that the simcard was probably broken (which worked the same hour that i left the phone at the store). So i took the simcard and put it in my friends phone and it worked. Another 30 mins the staff member stood there scrathing his head saying that the samsung took a long time to find the simcard after bootup (which is not true). Then he took the phone to the back and looked at it and found that he had not connected the sim reader-cable in the phone when he reassembled the phone with the $149 rubbish display fix. I would not recommend these guys to anyone, i would not have been this annoyed if the manager would actually had taken the responsibilty to talk to me and give the full refund or atleast another $100 since the glass replacement wasnt well done. Since the managers of Dr.Cellphone is involved i would say that this low-level of customer support is rooted in the foundation of the company. Stay away! Near criminal level of ripping the customers of with bogus parts and bogus excuses.

I wish I could give a hundred more stars. When I told them there was water damage they warned me there was a possibility that nothing could be done. Apple wouldnt even attempt opening up a water-damaged phone. Took my 2.5-year-old iPhone 4s in for numerous repairs: Lock button stuck (which happened before the water), water damage, and camera replacement. They wanted to do a diagnostics for thirty-something bucks to make sure the water damage hadnt made other repairs impossible. Sure, whatever, Ill chance it, if anything they told me I get my phone back cleaner inside and out. I was fortunate to be able to get my iPhone into rice as soon as it had taken a good 20 second swim in my pool, and everything worked fine except flash was stuck on and rear camera didnt work at all. But it had been a couple weeks before I got it in for repairs. I walked in 15 minutes before closing, they had it ready the next morning. They not only were able to make the repairs I requested (guessing the water damage wasnt bad enough), but they charged me less than a quarter of the sum of what they quote a lock button repair and camera replacement to be on their website. I was astonished and incredibly relieved. This is how you do business. I asked them why it was so cheap, they just said they were being nice. Considering getting things replaced that dont even need replacing, like the ear speaker and battery, just to have fresher parts in my phone. Obviously these guys know what they are doing with Apple phones at least. I wouldnt take an iPhone anywhere else. Glad I dont have some odd, foreign, or unpopular phone that makes repairing difficult. I hope to have my 4s for 4 years now, or until iOS 9 is released and will be uninstallable on the i4s. All thanks to Dr. Cell Phone in Addison. Diagnostics: $32.46 Camera Replacement: "$54.11" *Only charged me $21.65 Lock Button: No repairs listed on receipt. But received back in working condition. (prices are after tax) BOOM

Took device in. Had to pay deposit of $54 just for a diagnostic, but was desperate to get it fixed quickly. Told I would be contacted in 2 to 3 DAYS with an estimate and update. 6 days went by without a word. Called to check, and phone automatically went to some Frisco location and they had "NO InFO on my device". So, I drove up there (Addison) and the "tech" tells me they couldnt figure it out there, so they sent it to the Frisco location and I would be contacted the next afternoon. Yes. The same location that just told me they had no info on my device. 4 more days came and went and then got a voicemail saying that the motherboard had an issue and it would cost more to fix than to just get a new one. So I pick it up, look up motherboards for it, and...well...if anyone knows where you can get a new Toshiba satellite for $52, let me know, because thats what the new motherboard cost. Basically, if they would have used the money I threw away for a "diagnostic" they could have fixed it. 11 screws and a couple of hours later, I fixed it myself. Im NOT an engineer or anything like that, and its about a six year old device, so not like some brand new bug. Will not go to this place again. BTW, the store smells like a gas station urinal. Seriously.
