So very thankful to have crossed paths with Barker Diamond Co. <3 Experts in custom jewelry, I trust them completely. Their suggestions from the very beginning were spot on - it just took me several weeks to realize it. ;) Heres the full story if you have time to read it... While searching for engagement rings in the Nashville area, my fiancé happened upon their info via Yelp. The reviews were promising so we decided to check it out. Lorraine and Randy were sooooo patient with us (mainly me - haha). I had my heart set on a vintage, art deco style and all leads came up empty, except at Barker Diamond. They listened to every detail on my wish-list and had a ring, waiting right there...almost exactly what I had described. However, there were still a couple of elements that I wasnt crazy about. Still, they listened and talked us through various options, brought in OEC diamonds from NY for our viewing and their jewelry artist was able to customize the setting to fit the larger stone just beautifully. Since the setting had to be customized, I had no idea what the final result would look like, only very high hopes. Barker Diamond more than exceeded what I had envisioned. The final results were absolutely gorgeous: a ring replicated from a vintage mold, retro-fitted to hold an OEC, the best of both worlds - antique style and new durability. I could go on and on...can you tell I love my ring?! :) Of course we purchased Bens wedding band from Barkers, another beautiful custom creation. I dont know what we would have done without them. With a few months until our wedding, my (now) husband and I went to Barker Diamond. Due to the unique shape of the engagement ring, I hadnt found an existing ring that fit it correctly, so we decided to have one custom made. We went to Barker Diamond after reading the reviews and because it was in a convenient location for us, and I could not be more happy about that decision! I had an idea of what I what I wanted the band to look like and the Barkers listened as I explained my thoughts, offering their suggestions and asking questions along the way. They made the ring in a timely manner and had wonderful communication, as well. When I picked up the final product, I was blown away! They did an excellent job turning my idea into reality, and I continue to be impressed over six months later with how perfectly the rings fit together. If I could give Barker Diamond 10 stars, I would!! I recently went back to Barker Diamond to get the two rings soldered together, and again, I am incredibly impressed. Great job, and great people!

This is the best place to go in Nashville to get an engagement ring and bands. Me and my husband looked at many other popular chain stores but nothing compared to the family feeling and personal attention we got at the Barkers. The store has a much more intimate feel than the other places in town and Randy, Lorraine and their daughter Mia will work with you to pick out exactly the diamond and the setting that you’ll love forever. There was something really special about buying not only from a local business but from this beautiful couple that’s been married so long. They genuinely cared about me and my fiancés future as a couple, not just the sale. Randy is extremely knowledgeable about diamonds and they had a fast turnaround time to make our ring. And I must say I have never been so in love with a diamond! If you have a style in mind, they can create it. We also got our bands here and I love them. The engraving didn’t take long either. Thank you to the Barkers!

I highly recommend Barker Diamond, not only to someone shopping for engagement rings, but to anyone looking to make any type of jewelry purchase. I recently purchased my engagement ring from them and could not be happier with every aspect of the purchase. During our first meeting, Randy took over two hours of his time just to teach and educate me about diamonds. He wasnt trying to sell me anything. He genuinely cared about me and wanted me to be informed so that I could make an wise purchase. Randy and the team at Barker Diamond are the best! Went in for the first visit as an inexperienced jewelry shopper and Randy dropped everything to give me a detailed class on what I should look for and what to value in an engagement ring. Never once did he try to pressure or sell me on anything which was extremely refreshing and made the process much less stressful. Once the ring was purchased Randy has continued to be a great support, always flexible to our schedule and our needs. Shopping for our bands was just as easy. We have moved away from the area but I plan to go back to Randy for any future jewelry purchases due to the trust I have for him and his team.

Barker Diamond is the only place I will ever buy jewelry! My engagement ring, wedding, band, and pearls I wore for my wedding all came from Randy. My rings are gorgeous, one of a kind, and I get literally hundreds of compliments on them! Randy is an artist and really takes the time to educate his customers and helps create a beautiful piece of jewelry. Extremely GREAT customer service! I went into the process of picking an engagement ring with absolutely no knowledge or experience. Randy was so awesome. He taught me all about diamonds and bands and spent hours helping me find the right one without a hard sales pitch.
