Im SO glad I found this amazing jeweler tucked away in the business section of the Water Tower building. My fiancé found a great vintage engagement ring and proposed over xmas while we were in California. Upon returning to Chicago, I wanted to get it re-sized and I wanted to take it somewhere that was reputable for working on vintage pieces. After being scared away from another jeweler (who claimed to be THE best in Chicago but basically refused to take my ring in fear that they would break it??), I luckily found H Horwitz and stopped by to ask them about it. They took my ring with great confidence and made me feel great about their expertise. Craig sat me down and told me all kinds of great information about the ring and its history. He is so knowledgable!! They resized and rebuilt some of my ring (re-shanked the bottom) and it looks amazing. Craig took great care in taking the time to make sure it looked great. I will go back when im ready to shop for my wedding band, as they have a lot of amazing vintage bands as well. I highly recommend H Horwitz Co, especially if you have vintage pieces that need repairs!

My fiance surprised me with the fabulous engagement ring that was custom made and hand crafted at this place. My ring has the beautiful clarity and cut that brings out the insanely bright sparkle. And I receive compliments a lot from it. I absolutely love my ring and highly recommend if you want the specially designed ring for the loved one.

Craig Horwitz is a true professional. Very patient and very devoted for his work. He has great items and is very accommodating to all my requests despite my tight timelines. I couldnt walk away without buying an item. He also gave me a very reasonable price for what I bought. He is highly recommended!
