Where do I start with the drama that is this GameStop. I tried to obtain a classic Nintendo last year. I went in 3 months before and put my name on a list to be called when the nintendos came in. I never received a call and when I went in and asked why I happened to get the manager that let me know they were not supposed to have a list! I tried for months to get one and never did. The employees were rude with the exception of the female manager and honestly the sales associates were suspicious to say the least about the gaming systems. Today I went in to buy a Nintendo switch. The guy that initially helped me was nice but they did not have them and did not offer to call other stores, however he let me know they were sold out online as well. He offered to put me on the "list" again and I said " you arent supposed to be doing that " needless to say he had heard about the previous drama lol .... I left the store and called around and found one in Mt.Juliet. Although they cant hold them my husband was available to get there and buy it. I proceeded to go back in and let another gentleman know that I had bought one at the mt.juliet store and take me off the list. He was surprised I found one. He laughed and said "whos dinner did you have to cook" .... i thought about it for some time and at the hermitage store you typically get bare minimum help. At the mt.juliet store you dont have to cook dinner for the employees you get to be a customer and they hand out awesome service for free! I am not specifically complaining on these two employees because they were not the rudeness I have received before from there however the store as a whole needs help.

Staff does everything they can to be helpful whether its to find a specific game ( they will call other stores and have them hold it of they dont have it , they will help you find games similar to Games you have enjoyed in the past or introduce you to something you never thought youd enjoy. Theyll follow you to answer questions or just leave you to browse. Knowledgeable on ALL game systems and pre owned items they sell. They will offer up opinions of you ask, but do not push them on you. It is clean and well organized. Although I DID give it four out of five stars, its over something I see ( or do not see) GameStop needs more women on their workforce in general. Game Informer itself has talked about sexism on gaming so why shouldnt the company start the change itself and make an effort to hire more "gaming women" to work on the floor the!selves? Change the way gamers who happen to be women are seen on a "screen" and let them use their knowledge in your stores ? Class act as a store...still some work to do as a company.

Worst gamestop Ive ever shopped at, when I 1st went in to have my preorders transfered from another store since I just moved out of state I was told I would recieve a call from them when it was complete. The management from the out of state store reached out but this one never even attempted to. Next I tried to preorder the PS4 Pro and at the time I went in I was told they could not accept my preorders so I had to get it from Amazon instead. Tonight I was told they would be doing a midnight launch and waiting to show up at midnight for the release, got the the store Noone in sight. For someone who works over 70 hours a week you can understand that being a slight inconvenience. If this is the service I should expect to get I plan to go in and get a full refund on my preorder and never shop this location again, Ill take my business elsewhere. Hope this helps anyone considering to use this store in the future, Ill make sure everyone I know hears about the stellar customer service!

We purchased a used gaming headset from them about 4 months ago. For Christmas we ordered a different set online, and had planned to sell the old set back to GameStop and use that money to buy a game. When we went to do that though they announced that they didnt buy used headsets. Funny considering we bought the used one we had first from them. I wont be going back there. Wish I hadnt spent $700 with them in July on 2 new game systems and that retarded membership that we dont use. I probably would have taken it a little easier had the woman at the counter not been a rude witch that looked like the store was slowly sucking the life out of her. Maybe they treat their employees as well as they do their customers.

I recently moved and this is my closest Gamestop. I had hopes of making it my place to go to for games and accessories, like my old Gamestop, sadly I was mistaken. Earlier this year I purchased a new GTA V and it wasnt until I got home that I realized it was already open. I doubt that it is Gamestop policy to sell open games as new. This particular branch is a discredit to the company and I recommend going the extra mile to go to another Gamestop.
