We went to trade in our gently used xbox 360 and buy an xbox One. For starters, they had a sign that said "buy any system, and get two free games if $14.99 or less." We tried to buy two games in addition to our system. They were not for the xbox One. They would not give them games to us for free because they were not xbox One games. We were under the impression that you could use xbox 360 games on the xbox One. You cannot. The sales person failed to give us all of the information that we needed for the xbox One. He was not helpful or insightful. He failed to tell us that we would also need an HDMI cable-capable TV. We were also not allowed to return the xbox for a refund, only for store credit. So in addition to the xbox One, we also had to go buy a new TV. The aforementioned sales person also failed to sell us the Kinect we would need for the xbox. There is no corporate website or phone number that we know of. We believe that Game Stop has better customer service and return policies. We will no longer be customers of Game World for their failure to provide us will necessary information.

I like the fact that gameworld has gamecube games and classic games on the playstation but its a rip off. I took my gta 5 in the store to see how much I could get gamestop had offered me 16.50 gameworld tells me they can only give me 10 what a rip off!! I know gamestop dose not always give the best trade value but a place down the road competing against them give less. How are they going to compete. It really irritated me because you would think they would be trying to pull customers from gamestop not sending them there. Also I also commented to the guy that they will only give 10 dollars. He got mad and said go to gamestop

Well, first it took any system and sold many old and new games, making it a unique store unlike GameStop. Replying to other people, all next gen game systems (Xbox one,PS4) use HDMI for better graphics. Before you buy a new system, research on it and know what you are buying, or you will get in a situation you didnt want to be in. Its not really the workers job to give you all info on the console.

These guys are the best. I tended to prefer them anyway over GameStop, but when I ordered a refurbished console from GameStop and it was D.O.A. I had to fight to even get a refund. These guys made me a great deal that sealed it. They are all friendly, personable, and have a passion for what they do and it shows. THAT is retail done right.

The customer service is top notch. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this store over their competition down from Walmart. (Didnt want to call anyone out)
