My first experience with this company was by complete happenstance. I had been dealing with a local Nashville jeweler before I found Service Jewelry and Repair, you may be familiar with them by their commercials where they flaunt their title as the "Official Jeweler of the Titans". When I picked up my finished engagement ring from this other company (a long nightmarish story in of itself, but not necessary for this review) I was completely unsettled with the results. As I sat in the parking lot and struggled over what to do, I decided to find a different jeweler in the area and take the ring to them for a second opinion, perhaps some guidance on how to proceed in fixing my dilemma if I was lucky. I pulled up a search on my phone and it gave me a list of jewelers near by and I called the first one on the list which happened to be the corporate office for Service Jewelry and Repair. I was immediately impressed with how I was treated on the phone after describing my unique dilemma and the lack of hesitation to offer assistance. When I arrived at the office, I was greeted by their personnel in a very welcoming and friendly way. After I told them my situation in more detail, I was immediately taken to see the president of the company. During this visit, he provided me with comprehensive information about the purchasing dos and donts of fine jewelry in an unbiased manner, as well as sincere guidance in resolving my situation. When I left there, I was very confident in how to proceed, and this is exactly what I was looking to achieve when I had contacted Service Jewelry and Repair. Since this experience, I have stayed in contact with this company to take care of our ring cleanings and various other jewelry needs. The service has continued to impress and the results have always been nothing but spectacular. The range of services is broad, and their organization is commendable. I will definitely be using Service Jewelry and Repair for all our jewelry needs from now on.

I took a Rolex Submariner in to have the cyrstal replaced and asked for it to be cleaned and to check the timing. The representative told me they would send the watch to the Brentwwood location and they would call me and give me a price the next day. I waited and finally called the 3rd day and the representative said that she would call and get the price and call me back and she did call me that afternoon. The company had to order the crystal. The company replaced the crystal and called me and said that it was ready. When I went to pick it up and the watch was not cleaned. I asked why it was not clean? They said they thought that I meant the inside of the watch??? The inside of the watch is sealed. Its waterproof??? They said that they would be happy to send it back and get it cleaned but, there would be an extra charge for it. I said thanks but, no thanks. Dont want to be without my watch another week or two. Picked the watch uo on 10/10/11 at 12:30 the date on the watch indicated 10/5/11 and the time showed 3:08??? I would think if someone was adjusting the timing on the watch that they would be setting the timing correctly to see if the watch is indeed keeping correct time?? You have one chance to make a good impression and "They Blew It"! I will not go back and if someone ask me for a referral I can promise it wont be them! Andy

As soon as I entered the store I was greeted by a well dressed and polite man named Scott. He asked me how he could be of service and I began to tell him the story behind a piece of jewelry that meant a lot to my girlfriend. A family member that my girlfirend was very close to passed away recently and so she wore her necklace at all times until the clasp began to fail. She was upset that she could not wear it any longer. After Scott listened to my story attentively, he began to examine the necklace. He demonstrates his knowledge by explaining to me what the necklace was made of and answering all my questions quickly and efficiently. He recommended a new clasp and o-ring, it looked perfect! He then took the necklace to the back and had it fixed, cleaned, and boxed up professionally. Later that night I presented the necklace to my girlfriend over dinner and candlelight and the first thing she noticed is how clean it was, the gold necklace and the diamond piece were sparkling! The second thing she noticed is the new clasp and how it looked like it was made for that particular necklace because it matched in color and size so well. She then proceeded to wrap her arms around my neck and hug me for an extended period of time while tears rolled down her face. She was so happy. Me and my fiance worked with the Brentwood Team to custom create my engagement ring and band. Dana and Karen took every measure to help us pick out the perfect diamond for our design. The actual designer Amy, from the Service Center location, has amazing software to show you exactly what your finished ring will look like. Nothing could prepare us for how gorgeous the ring actually was! When the time came for deciding on the band the Brentwood Team was excellent at helping me decide what to do. We decided to make a modified version of something that was already in their case. So they took that band out of their case and sent it to Amy, just so she could have a visual of what I had picked out. Could not have asked for a better experience or ring!

Took 3 watches in to replace batteries and was told it would take an hour. That seemed a long time but I left them, with my name and phone number, and spent an hour nearby at Target. When I came back, 70 minutes later, she said they hadnt even started them! Apparently something more important had bumped my watches. First, it shouldnt have taken 15 minutes to change 3 watch batteries if you know what youre doing. Second, they disregarded my place in line. Finally, they had my phone number and didnt even have the courtesy to call me so I stopped wasting my time. Very poor service. No regard for a customer. NOT recommended.

I took a watch to get a new battery put in - it takes about ten minutes at other places I have been to - and the sales person behind the counter indicated that they had seventeen waiting and I could have it back the next day in the PM. The Sales woman was very rude when I asked for a ten minute activity, why it would take two days. she said it was only her and and a jeweler....duh!!!! Maybe she should have been replacing batteries in watches instead of making photocopies of a friends driver license. Novel idea, huh? Actually working for the customer?

I trust this place. Over the years I have gone there for little things such as watch repair. While their jewelry is mostly out of my price range, I got to where I valued the staff and their knowledge. When it later came time for me to purchase a quality piece of jewelry (Ill let you guess the occasion), this is where I returned and I must say that impressed me. They were able to work with my budget, gave me great customer service, and the whole experience was delightful. They have my loyalty.
