Ok so bare with me Im writing this after Ive been standing at the front of the store waiting for 31 minutes for a manager to come unlock the bikes out front to purchase one. The two women who are ringing people up are clearly overwhelmed , you would think for a resort type of vacation destination they would have more people on staff. Four days ago a man with an assistant manager tag was moving slower than the beltway at rush hour ringing people up, and didnt know how to run the coupons that the guy in front of me had. Btw 41 minutes after waiting for the manager she arrived at when we walked out front informed me that the bike with the price tag on it was in fact not for sale because theres a work order on it. Put it this way if you were in a hurry just go to target!

Coming back from HHI we got a flat tire. We were 3 miles from this store location. I called this location and asked for the times of the Auto Center to see if we could get some help plugging the tire. Mind you this was around 845pm. The employee that answered the phone stated "we dont have a auto center". As we pulled in off to the left of the store there is a big sign "Auto Center". We missed the Auto Center hours by 5 minutes. The staff there was very unprofessional and rude when asked if there was anyone available still from the Auto Center since we just missed them by 5 minutes. Just to let everyone know .. THERE IS A AUTO CENTER! :) dont be fooled!

Good and bad. Staff were congenial. 2 items were left on carousel, checker missed that. When trying to call back to c/s, phone rang constantly, no one picked up. Did that 3 times. Finally asked for manager who responded right away. He said customer service doesnt pick up phone till line is clear. What???? He said to come in for replacement that staff would pick them right away.I didnt want to waste any more time so went in to pick them up myself then took them and receipt to C/S. Associate was pleasant and helpful. I liked the staff but not the manager. He defended his staff (good) but accused me of wrongdoing (bad).

Out of the whole store I found 2-2 people helpful & courteous! They couldnt even find a roll of quarters that I could buy for the laundry mat & the lady at the customer service desk acted just like ALL her co workers minus 2! RUDE & uneducated! We take in 10 million per day yet we dont have 1 roll of quarters! I would save your money & go to Publix not one rude person & ALL customer service were very eager to be helpful & very professional!

This Walmart is getting really run down. It doesnt feel clean and its not very organized. Items I find at most Walmarts and grocery stores arent available here - the selection is limited. There is no self checkout and lines are slow. Parking is a mess. The permanent timeshare kiosk is annoying as are the various other groups soliciting donations as you come and go. Not worth the effort with the new Super Kroger and Gray Co on island.

we were there today 1/24/2013.... it was busy, only one full cart register was open and clerk was slow....tried to use self checkout with large order and line was there also, had issues there..do not understand with lines growing in a busy store why managment was reluctent to open more registers?????? we were half between target and walmart and made the wrong decission today, but there will be another day!!!!!!!

We ordered a wedding cake there because we had a good experience ordered our engagement party cake in another wallmart in New Jersey but it was a horrible experience this time!!. We made the mistake ordering our wedding cake in walmart but we were there for vacation and we didnt know many places so we chose wallmart. I would not recommend this to anyone else. The flavor was good but the design was terrible.

The customer service manager Tonya was very flippant and rude mocking me when i asked if any registers were open. Further i witnessed her mock and tease a fellow employee and from what i could tell someone she was in charge of in a way that seemed callous and mean. The employee was upset and she was laughing. I will consist consider going to a different store because of this.

If you try to buy fabric be prepared to wait awhile just to get some assistance. Two different employees paged someone to come and nobody did. Then I asked one employee walking by if she could help and was blatantly ignored which is always a great experience. Finally I just gave up and walked away. At least the cashier was pleasant when my mom made her purchases.

One of those Walmarts that just doesnt rise to expectations. Horrible staff. Everything is disheveled. Just a terrible experience. Makes you want to use self-checkout just to avoid yet another "personality." Ill come back to Hilton Head, but Ill never return to this store. They work like they dont want you there...

This is the WORST Walmart Ive ever been to!! They NEVER have more than 2 registers open after 10:00pm & they shut down the self check out, even when the store is completely full this time of day. It is tourist season!! The people that work there are so rude & dont have time for anyone but themselves!!

This Walmart is fairly nice. Its clean! Its a Supercenter. Customer service line was short and easy to get through. The only minor complaint would be to have more registers available, because this Walmart does some serious traffic, as they are always busy and they handle it very well.

Your average Walmart with everything you need, long lines, and difficult parking during peak hours. However, I do like the trees in the parking lot. Feels like your parking your car in a jungle. Also a large amount of touristy stuff because you are on Hilton Head Island.

Called to see if tires I needed were in stock. They said yes, when I got there they said they only had one, when the guy told me 3 on the phone. Staff said that the inventory was in the system wrong. Wasted my time and money since I left work early.

One of the most friendly walmarts Ive ever been too. Multiple associates asked me if I needed anything and thanked me as I left. I was able to easily find what I wanted which is always a good surprise going into a Walmart for the first time.

Its always cool to have a Walmart on an island, and from my experience they were cheaper than the nearby big box Publix, etc. I especially liked the shaded parking, its a big plus when it can get into the high 90s on a summer day.

Even Walmart Jacks their prices up at this tourist trap of an area. 8 bucks for a roll of Reynolds wrap. Lol. Remember to bring anything beach and tourist related with you otherwise you WILL not pay typical wally world prices.

Old and outdated. You can tell this has not been remodeled in years. Lines were long and slow. Not sure if its bad training or what. Had a lot of beach items and everything a normal store has. Nicest part was the parking lot.
