I wish I could give them a big, fat ZERO! I shopped the womens store for almost 2 hours and with the exception of the lady who rudely pointed me in the direction of the Lily Bloom bags, I did not get greeted by 1 single person or asked if I need help. I shopped the Michael Kors and Ralph Lauren section...same. No greeting, help or anything. I finally went to check out and went to the Lilly Pulitzer register to run into the snootiest clerk. She was messing with the tissue paper as she chatted it up with a customer who had an arm full of Lilly P. items who was just shopping, not even waiting to check out. She turned around twice and saw me standing there waiting to check out. She never said can I help you, I will be with you in a moment...nothing. I wish I had gotten her name so I could name her on here. I went to another register instead of wasting anymore time with her. That was my crappy experience in the womens Belk here in Hilton Head and really dont care to go back. My husband, in the meantime, was shopping over in the separate mens store. He came back to tell me he left 3 shirts laying there at the check out because of the lack of help. He walked around the entire store trying to find someone to ring him up. There was 1 lady in Home Goods but she was working on getting someone approved for a credit card. He walked around to try and find someone else and a manager told him there is a clerk in Home Goods that can ring him up. He explained to her the wait there and there was no offer for any other remedy. As he walked the whole store again, he could still only find the 1 clerk who was still trying to get the customer approved for a credit card. So he just kindly put his items down and left the store. As far as the condition of the store...a mess. I walked past a cart loaded with make up orders sitting in the middle of the aisle as I walked back to shoes and handbags. When I walked back by almost 2 hours later, still sitting there. Racks are a mess throughout the store and my husband said the mens/home store was the same. Stuff in the aisles everywhere. This store is in desperate need of some management. Good luck to them. I will never return.

I tried to purchase a bra today and you would have thought it was rocket science. The woman at the counter clearly didnt want to help me. She wanted to chat with customers at the counter. I asked for a bra fitting and she complied but she measured me in an odd way and said I was measuring at much bigger than I actually am. She said she didnt have any bras that were in my size. Indeed, upon looking for a bra, there were sizes like 34 DD. But she had a couple of bras in hand. She told me to look around and shed get right back to me. I had been waiting a total of 30 minutes, 15 at the counter waiting for her to measure me and then 15 when she went back to the counter. She gave a half-ass apology to me that she needs to help other customers. As I was waiting for her, I decided that my time is too precious to wait for her to do her job. I left. I went to Jockey. They got me the size that the Belk woman had measured me and the bra fell off of me! Belk sucks. Quit hiring retirees who use their job as social hour. You lost a sale. Im never going back.

The store seemed pretty unorganized and the clerks (I interacted with 4 different staff) overall were not very friendly or helpful. One clerk was very rude to me and seemed to blame me for the messiness of the store. I was looking for a robe for my cousin and it was marked as 40% off. When she rung it up, it wasnt so. She then said I had picked it up off the wrong rack and that there was no way they had mislabeled it. I ended up talking to another clerk who gave me the 40% off even though the robe was not supposed to be on sale. They had put all the robes on the wrong rack. This clerk was very kind to me and helpful. The store overall is not well organized and the staff is not helpful (with that one exception).

I was told you have a maternity section. I drive all the way here... No maternity section. If all of the stores of Hilton Head & Bluffton cant cater to pregnant women, then maybe Ill stop shopping at your stores all together. Pregnant women need clothing too.

The store is a little messy. But the clerks were very nice and gave me a friends and family discount do you get an additional 20% off everything. And they have awesome Lilly Pulitzer stuff there.
