Bought a $2000 fridge from here just under two years ago. We had to have it fixed twice within the first year and now, this third time it has broken, we have been waiting 3 months and counting (can you imagine 3 months without a fridge/freezer?!). Multiple times our appointments were cancelled without notice. After sitting at home waiting all day, finally called and was informed they cancelled it. Had a technician come out and order the parts to fix it, then had to wait 3 weeks for them to come in, but the next guy didnt know why the first guy ordered the parts so he tinkered a bit and said it was fixed- it wasnt. When he returned a week later to try again, he tried calling Sears for help and they were even giving the technician a hard time, making light of the situation. He finally ordered a part that he thought should solve the problem, had to wait another week for it to come in, and turns out it was one of the parts they had originally ordered!! Not sure if this will finally fix it or not, just hoping that they stop jerking around and send someone here to do the work soon! No wonder this company is going down the drain! Terrible customer service, terrible quality appliances, and lazy workers

Bought a dishwasher in 2014. It has caught on fire in aug 2016 and tripped our breaker. I unpluged dishwasher and reset breaker. We called sears for our repair agreement and they sent a guy out who plugged it in and said nothing is wrong. I said it was on fire smoking and all cant you smell it? He said nothing is wrong. He didnt even open it up. So we use it again and in December 2016 it catches on fire again. We have been treated badly. They talk to us like we arent a customer and as of January 13 our dishwasher is still broken. All i can get from sears is transfered to someone else. They wont even pretend to care that we actually paid alot of money for a dishwasher that has needed repaired 3 times since we got it. Update. Today January 23. 2017. They canceled appointment again today. Their customer service called me and said ther repair tecs are sick today. I told the women thats not acceptable and she said it doesnt matter that this is what it is. I am filing a complaint with the ohio department of consumer affairs today.

I purchased a jacket and when I got home I tried it on and it didnt seem to fit correctly, so I put it in my car and 34 days went by before I got back to Sears (went there to return the jacket and purchase a riding mower) when I tried to return it the manager informed me of the policy NO RETURNS AFTER 30 DAYS, I said does it matter that Im going to purchase another item, I would be fine with store credit, even though I had my receipt, because the riding mower was just under $1000.00. she said it didnt matter. shes right it didnt matter because I went to Home Depot and bought a riding mower there, Great Business Policy Sears, this may be why your stores are EMPTY. it will be a little more empty without me and my family from now on, I destroyed my Sears credit cards that Ive had for 40 years. good bye and good luck.

Sears has really gone down hill over the last decade or two. They dont really have anything good. And even when they do, its to much money. The employees seem like they dont like their job. Its why I tend to go to places like Best Buy for appliances and what not.

Sears was really bad and treated me like dirt ,I got a washer there it was 1,200.00. And they would not fix it for us. I will not go into that store again I also got a gas stove there and they treated bad again.
