Walmart please post your policies! Your cashier lines are always long so I usually go to the self check-out, but today the woman there (Tammy) was very rude to me and my retired Army husband. We bought groceries and wine, she said as Walmart policy she had to see ALL of our IDs. Im in my forties and my daughter does not have an ID, I left my wallet at home and my husband (who was paying)showed his ID which wasnt good enough for her. Ive bought wine in self checkout a few times before and this was the first time we were told this. She was very rude about it.....maybe because I am Polynesian?!?! As I felt this was way beyond policy questioning.. BUT if its policy, please post signs advising so, then Ill stand in your long lines because the cashiers there do not ask for everyones ID. My husband was about to take our wine and stand in a cashier line, but Tammy said NO! Tammy was the only person who ever told this to us. Post your Policies. We are buying our liquor from the State liquor store from now on. This was so embarrassing. ...

Self check out is a plus! I gave it 2 stars because I have been harassed by an employee in loss and prevention since February of 2016. I provided proof to managers and they did nothing but throw it away. This person has banned me when I was not even in the store! It took me weeks almost a month to take care of that. He then filed false charges against my husband, and they allow this because he works there. He abuses his position and they back him up. I currently have an open investigation with Global Ethics Department, and an attorney. Thats how bad it is. In 15 years of shopping there Ive never had an issue! The employee are very nice. They usually dont know where products are or anything like that, but they sure will try to their hardest to help you... its not their fault that walmart is constantly moving product around. Instead of wasting an hour of my life searching for constantly moving product...I have switched to online shopping for pretty much everything. ..even my groceries are delivered now..saving me time & $$ from going to Walmart. This Walmart is crowded & there are also a lot of car break ins in Ashtabula, so when we do have to go to Walmart, we usually drive to Edinboro or Ridge Rd. But, I want to stress again that the friendliness of the employees here is 5 stars!! :)

I gave them 3 stars for the last visit because it was the best visit since they opened, which sadly says alot. We still had issues (the ham would not ring up so the cashier put it in as meat but when we ran our food card it still was a remaining balance so she kept trying to get it removed, it took her 10 minutes before the manager walked past and then the cashier asked her for assistance), but the manager fixed it and even gave us the ham for free. I had to make sure cause she took it off and then put it in our cart, I wanted to make sure that she was giving it to us so that we did not get accused of stealing it.

Ive shopped at this Wal-Mart so many times and if you dont watch the cashier the will over charge and the store will not give you back your $$ and neither. will your BANK I hate this store beside that they never ever have carts Ive been taking by Wal-Mart so many times I will not shop there there the beggest thieves I know in business!!!

I like this Wal-Mart store, I dont understand some people saying it is dirty n that the employees are not nice. I have NEVER seen dirt or had the employees be mean to me. If I had any complaints , I would like to see the pet foods moved closer to the grocery isles. Needs that, its a great store, with nice employees.

Average Walmart. Registers are often understaffed. They did, however, have an amazing Cookie Monster display full of cookies near the checkout. (I would give it 5 stars if businesses were solely judged on the quality of their Cookie Monster displays.)

The service sucks!!! All Wal-Marts are that way. Its VERY hard to get any kind of customer service, as it seems everyone is always on break. Then, when you do. They either dont know where something is at, or they know NOTHING about their products!

I truly never had a BAD experience. They has just about anything you need. For the most part, the employees try their best, and if not all you have to do is ask for a manager. Remember you are also an active part of any experience you have.

Its okay, watch out for bottles in the parking lot, I only did site to store but I would only return if I had too, if you live in the area it might be worth it but it was just a quick stop while traveling. Its pretty far from the highway.

Dont go if you can avoid it. Today there was a random person in a complete cat Halloween costume (an adult presumably) picking over the watermelon while holding his "tail." I know its Wal-Mart but Ashtabulas always scares me.

Why is this store always dirty? Sunday and 2 registers open with lines backed up to jewelry. I try to not go in the lines 20 items or less but not standing in those lines and I refuse to do self serve.

One of my very favorite Walmarts. Mostly due to the available stock. Cashiers are always great. The snag comes when you have a need to return. Then the managers become jerks.
