CUSTOMER SERVICE STINKS I have had problems with Verizon since April of 2011. Ive had two phones that I havent gotten my rebate on. I get no service anywhere I go, home and work. I cant even watch a video on my phone. I had a phone that broke and the sales guy made me believe they only way I could get another phone was to open another line. So now I have three phone lines that I pay for and dont even use. Verizon changed my plan to what they thought I needed without talking to me about it so I had a $300 bill two months in a row. I went in to change it and they took up for the guy that did it saying he was trying to help me out... "HELP ME OUT WITH A $300.00 BILL.... BULLCRAP" Ive had three different times where I have had extra charges on my phone for no reason.. I went into the store on Columbiana and they sales guy there hardly talked to us when he was helping us.. then he reset my phone losing all of my contacts and then left us standing in the middle of the store. The manager then helped me and gave me the number of her boss to call about getting my extra line canceled without paying a disconnect fee. Ive called her and left a message and sent her a text message and still havent gotten a call back. I sent Verizon an email. A guy called me and turned everything into my fault. I have had enough of Verizons crappy service... I am about to break my contract....

The customer service rocks! I went in to get a new phone and Yamil was more than helpful. He helped me figure out the exact phone I needed and then drove to the next store to get it for me and bring it back! He talked me through everything and gave me tons of advice so I would not be lost with this brand new phone. Once I left I thought my sound wasnt working so I turned around and came back and Timothy showed me exactly what was going on (I was being dumb, nothing was wrong with the phone haha). I would definitely not hesitate to give them a call if something goes wrong with my phone or I need help figuring something out. Best Verizon Ive been too by far.

Most people choose a store by convenience or location but I choose a store by customer service. You may think you are receiving great customer service now but once youve visited this location youll see theres no other comparison. And I must give a special shout out to THOMAS BURROWS. This gentleman spent hours (6 hours over 2 days around MY schedule) to fix my phone. Anyone else would have just wiped my phone clean or pushed me to purchase another but not Tom. He took the time to explore many options until he could find a solution to my disaster. My phone is working just like new plus I still have all my contacts, messages and photos. Thanks Tom!!

The guy helping me was super nice but also the phones here are more expensive! He told me that the phone was $99 and when I told him that online it said it was $49 he seemed confused. I really needed the phone that day so I just got it there instead of ordering it online. When I went to the Verizon at Harbison they told me that because I got it at a Cellular Sales store instead of a Corporate store they couldnt reimburse me the $50 difference. So if you think the phone is cheaper than what they will sell it to you here for, then youre probably right and go to a different store! They arent confused, just wanting to make the sale.

I was asked to pay 80 dollars for activation fees and the SIM card for bringing my own phone to a post paid plan. I declined and went to leave and they offered to lower it to a total of $41. I agreed. On my first bill, I received another fee for $24 in surcharges and I find out the fees I paid initially were to the STORE. I was not informed of this in the store and do not appreciate it at all. Verizon kindly waived the extra fee, but I would rather have paid Verizon an activation fee than a store who did nothing but fill out an application I could have done online. I will not be going back here.

The location at the retail store located at 3431 Forest Dr, Columbia, SC 29204 has terrible customer service. After three different customer waited a hour. A service representative named Tommy waited on a friend of his that walked after everyone else. While the others before the last customer waited. without being acknowledge. The manager on duty at the time Dave Viera was also rude as I tried to ask a question about an issue with my phone after waiting over an hour! This store has terrible customer service.

From the outside and google it says this is a real Verizon store. Went in got helped, and then the sales person makes us pay to some other company for being helped. Total rip off at a shady location. The guy, Brad Pounds, keep pulling phones out of his bag to try to sell to us. Also, he was not too helpful nor nice. What is this the black market of cell phone stores? I will never do business with them again and advise you to do the same.

I was not even buying anything, just dividing my phone bill from my sister and they were very patient and extremely helpful. They did not act like we were inconveniencing them at all and they even helped find extra available discounts for our new lines. The other forest dr location was good but this one is exceptional. Its worth driving out of your way for this Verizon store. If youre worried about the wait, you can make appointments.

I cannot thank Dustin Champion enough for all his help when I came in to purchase my new iPhone model 6S. He has been so patient, courteous and knowledgeable throughout my experience. He put his number into my phone and sent me a text and called me to be sure everything was working properly. Not being very savvy with all this new technology can be so intimidating but he was just wonderful and I cannot thank him enough!

I decided to look into switching to Verizon since their signal is stronger in remote areas. I was uncertain if I would really take the plunge and switch as I had been debating for some time. Arnold assisted me in the store and was very helpful in explaining all of the services and helping me choose a new phone. I left with a new phone and new service. It was a really easy process and Arnold did a great job helping me.

In general, I am a relatively indecisive, finicky yet inquisitive person. When my husband and I were looking for a new phone, Earl from the Verizon store on Forest Drive was incredibly helpful and patient with getting us set up with new phones and the promotional deals. I would definitely recommend him and the store to anyone else looking for new phone and pleasant experience.

I had a horrible experience at the two notch location as they would not even help me transfer my contacts and pictures after they sold me a new phone. Luckily, I ran into Mr. Burrows at this location and he not only helped me but did it with a smile on his face and made me feel like family! I urge everyone to stay away from that location on two notch and only go to this one!
