Scott and all the other workers at the scooter company are truly passionate about what they do and what they stand for. Absolutely outstanding service with a deep passion for what they do. I was really really truly impressed. I havent had classic care, and a deep and thorough passion from a business in a very long time, they are pristine with perfection and care for their customers. Scott, did a thorough examine on my moped for safety and 100% workability, he went above and beyond what was expected. He even did small tightening and other things of that matter free of charge/ slack. This kind of service ought to be recognized and respected because it is so hard to find. They are very honest, and truly passionate about what they do and will NOT sell you short of anything. From your safety to your repair or purchase. They are the best and greatest place to buy/ have your bike/Atvs repaired. They will be sure to give you 100%. I recommend them to everyone and everybody! This is the place to go! Way to go guys at the Scooter Company in Columbia SC! =] I will be seeing yall soon!

I am new to Columbia and needed reliable transportation. I bought a scooter from Mike and Scott and they were absolutely great! They attended to the tiniest detail on my scooter and made sure I could ride this. Scott even accompanied me to purchase a lock from Walmart because I never rode a scooter before! It was a great experience. They made sure I had extra supplies and went above and beyond the normal customer experience. For anyone needing a used or brand new scooter in Columbia, South Carolina, I have to recommend these folks. They will educate you and provide you with detail that is not seen with any other service provider. They make you feel right at home. If youre a student needing something for a semester, or someone just wanting to explore Columbia, you have to give them a visit. You will be pleasantly surprised after you purchase or lease from The Scooter Company, believe me.

I recently purchased a moped from the Scooter Company. I work at the University and the scooter is really convenient for the short distance between campus and my house. Mike and his crew were always very nice and helpful. Mike answered all the questions I had and let me drive one around the area to get a feel for it. I honestly had no idea what I was doing and Mike was happy to explain everything I wanted to know. He sold me a nice bike, and when I had an issue with it, he was happy to fix it (free of charge at that, since it was a new bike). Id recommend Mike and the Scooter Company to anyone in Columbia. Good bikes, friendly folks, true to their word.

Dont even bother going anywhere else, The Scooter Company is a great place to do business! I bought two scooters from Mike. After getting into a minor accident with one they got me back on the road pretty quickly and for a reasonable price. Then after the second one was stolen and quickly recovered by the Columbia police, Mike and the guys went out of their way to replace the busted ignition and gas tank locks and didnt even charge me!! It pays to be a good customer at a great establishment. Also great support with helmets, locks and oil changes, even answers phone messages and emails off hours.

I brought my motorcycle to these guys hoping they could do something to it, having sat in my yard for 7 months. They said theyd make it a weekend project, it would take some time but they would fix it. I got a call the next day, the bike was fixed. I ran down to check it out, and it ran smooth as when i first bought it. The guys that work there are down to earth and know what they are doing. Ill most definitely be going back to get some remodeling done and anytime I have problems with my ride. You should go out of your way to get your moped fixed here.

These guys are very friendly and knowledgeable about their products. Steve spent quite a long time explaining everything that I wanted to know about the mopeds. I just stopped in to ask some questions about servicing a used scooter that I was looking at buying, but after spending some time I decided to spend a few extra dollars and bought a new Taotao from them. Not to mention their prices beat all of the competition. So far so good, albeit the moped is brand new (but at least I know it hasnt been abused).

Being a visitor to Columbia, I was surprised to find a business that was great on customer service. Scotty and Mike are good people who really look out for you, especially when you need to know what to do with your bike. It may be a small business but you do get your moneys worth. They helped fixed so much on my bike that was badly done by another moped shop that it was almost back to its original state. They are one shop you dont want to ignore if youre a resident or just passing through.

If I could give The Scooter Company more stars, I would. I bought my moped from them a year ago and have gone nowhere else since. Mike and Scott represent everything that is great about the world of mechanics. They do great work, know their loyal customers and treat them well, and most of all, they are honest workers. If great, honest work at an unbeatable price is what you want, then look no further. I would ride an hour on a moped to have these guys work on it. Two thumbs way up.

They treat you like your apart of their family already, and you will love your experience working with them. They are professional and know customer service is important. Bought my scooter from here a few months ago and just got it back from a tune up. I hopped on it and that sucker is DRIVING LIKE A DREAM NOW! I appreciate that. These guys are straight shooters and if you treat them with respect they will treat you with the same. I appreciate everything you guys have done for me and very thankful to be back on the road! Would rate this 10 starts but you only get five. Best place in town, PERIOD.

The Scooter Company has hands down the best customer service in South Carolina! They answered all of my questions patiently, and even gave me a free lesson on how to ride my moped after I bought it. The owner even drove to my apartment on his day off to fix my moped when it wouldnt start, free of charge! I would recommend the scooter company to anyone and everyone looking for great mopeds and outstanding service.

Mike and Scott are awesome guys. Water got in the gas tank/line of my scooter from the historic rainfall we had this past week. Dropped it off before I left for class and these guys had it ready before I finished class. Their prices are fair and they are great at what they do. Will return here for any service I need and highly recommend this place to anyone looking to buy a moped or get one serviced. 5/5
