01/04/2011 I brought a notebook computer in for replacement of a defective DC jack. They returned it with the internal speakers disconnected, the battery life cut from 8 to less than 1-1/2 hours, the screen covered with greasy fingerprints, and the casing scratched and soiled. This, after theyd had my machine for 11 days! Ive never seen such careless, disorganized service (they dont even have a work order control system), or rude employees. They also had the audacity to refuse to reconnect the speakers, claiming they had already done so before they returned the computer. Oh? Then how come headphones, the jack for which plugs directly into the motherboard, work just fine? This place is the IT equivalent of an automotive chop shop. I dont know how they stay in business, except perhaps because theyre very good liars!

Let me just say this, Im extremely sensitive to other people handing my computer. The people at Silicon Solutions are the only people I trust with it. Im a pretty tech savvy guy myself. I wouldnt take my computer in at the first sight of a problem because I can usually fix it myself. Nevertheless, When all hope is lost I know I can go here; where not only are the prices really good but theyre extremely honest and knowledgable. They know me by name and Ive never had a problem they couldnt fix. Point and case, if you ever have any computer issues and dont know how to fix it, take it in to these guys. I guaretee you wont be disappointed with not only the service, but the staff as well.

I have always been well pleased the the results I get each time I bring my PC to These guys, Bill is friendly and helpful in advising on my computing needs. The technicians there are highly skilled and do great work. I have never been disappointed in almost ten years of association Silicon Solutions. Ever since they built my computer, I have upgraded at least 3 times, essentially building new computers, and have not had any problems. These are a great bunch who do a valuable service whether for home or business, p c or notebook. Prices are reasonable and not a rip off. I like that too.

Ive been going to Silicon Solutions for almost 10 years now. I dont need to get help very often with computer problems but when I do, the FIRST place I call is ALWAYS Silicon Solutions. They have the best customer service and great prices to go along with it. I can always count on them to do the job and to do it right. Also, they are extremely fast to get your computer back to you. I highly recommend this place to anyone with a computer problem or if you want a custom built computer, because they do that too. 100% satisfied!!!

This is the only local hardware/service store I patronize. The owner (Bill) is very knowledgeable and willing to help in any way he can. Competitive pricing for new and refurbished hardware. They have distributors for days: if you are looking for a specific piece they can find it. Having a local business that stands by their products and allows me to pickup what I need quick fast and in a hurry is priceless. No shipping woes for returns/exchanges/defects. I trust this business. Ive been a customer for seven years. Solid.

I recently brought a partially assembled custom build of mine to Silicon Solutions. They had all the parts I needed to complete the computer and they assembled it for me. Bottom line-These guys are fast, efficient, cost effective, do clean work, are extremely nice, and the list goes on. Ive had two experiences with Silicon Solutions now, and both were extremely satisfactory. Bill, the owner, is very helpful and worked with me both times to fit my needs. The second time there was an issue with the pricing of the work done, and Bill actually gave me a discount for the inconvenience; its rare to find customer service like this anymore. Long story short, if you need repair work done you will get a very reasonable quote and the repair will get done on time and correctly.

Awesome techs, service, and prices. Everytime Ive gone into silicon solutions I have been please with the products and services. Everyone knows that buying online can be cheaper but this place keeps the prices darn close. Besides great service and not having to wait for your product to arrive in the mail are more than enough to make up for the difference, and as an added bonus youre helping local business.

Expert service right down to the very little details. I was in a jam when my work computer hard drive failed. I wish I had called them from the beginning. They sold me a replacement drive for less than what best buy was advertising, AND I get to deal locally. I was actually on my way to BB and was surprised that Silicon was open until 6pm. Great service, great prices, and close by.

My motherboard and video card decided to commit seppuku one night while I was playing a game. With no means of testing this out myself, I just knew that some local shop was going to ream me. How happy I was to be wrong! This place is great, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the prices are fair. I will definitely return for any further stuff thats outside my ability to repair.

Silicon Solutions has built two desktops for me--one four years ago and one this week. Very fast service and very fast desktop with no bloatware. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Excellent, Affordable, Quick Service. Took my laptop here after I electrocuted my laptop (I shocked it when I grabbed the laptop, and the keyboard stopped working). Silicon Solutions quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed the issue the same day. Price was extremely reasonable. I will definitely be back for any future computer issues!

They worked on my seven year old laptop keeping it running for several months. I bought a new one and took it straight to them to transfer data and photos. Everything is working fine. Very professional and friendly. I recommend Silicon Solutions for your computer needs.

Computer came back in worse shape. Could not even access Fox News w/o being bombarded w/pop-up ads. Cursor on e-mail and typing moving all over the place. Took it back and was charged $40 to fix. Still not fixed. Never will use this business again.
