Costco is almost like going to another world. I had no idea what I was getting into. I went in to get a pack of yogurt for my daughter who loves gogurt. Upon entering the warehouse there is a security checkpoint. I had to flash my Badge (like Augusta National) indicating I was a member and more importantly...belonged. As I was trying to find the Gogurt section, I noticed a 90 inch, flat screen, LCD Ultra 4K TV that also cooks dinner for 500 bucks. What a deal, so I loaded it into the industrial sized cart provided. Since I was in the electronics section, I decided to buy 4 new cell phones, a home security system and 6 computers for about 700 total. I ventured past the outdoor section and grabbed a pergola, along with a wake board. I dont own a boat, but for 70, who could pass that up. Next I bought about 2 and half cows from their meat market. I had everything a cow could offer for meat except for the head...but Im sure Costco will be getting those on the next truck. I finally made it to the Gogurt section. Simply incredible. I bought 6000 gogurt for the prince of one pack at Publix. Shell be stocked for about a week in my house. On the way to check out, I noticed they had mens 1 a day vitamins in bulk. I bought the package that should last the entirety of my lifetime. Somewhere around 220,000 pills. Once I was herded through the check out, I tried to put all of the purchases into my Honda Accord Cross Tour. Ill need a bigger car. Costco...What an experience!!!

Bad experience this morning, i took my friend to Costco because she wanted to try and enroll as a new member, and after almost 2 hours and get full the cart, and ready to pay 200 dollars in groceries, the cashier register name Mihaela didnt want to do the transaction because she said my friend is not a member, so i decided to pay with my card (im a nember), and the cashier still refused it, because she said the groceries was not for me, beside the very bad attitued the cashier had with us, my friend of course wont enroll to Cotsco, she will stay with Sams

If you buy tires from the Columbia store, dont expect them to honor the road hazard warranty. I was just told the damage to the sidewall of a tire from hitting a curb was not covered and that damage from hitting a pothole also isnt covered - "only things like nails" are covered. When I called the Charleston store I was told that this type of damage is covered. Ill revise this rating if the store management resolves this but only slightly because the whole process has been absurd.

Costco is always friendly. Good company that values workers gets quality workers. BE AWARE. This location does not have standard alcohol area. They have a contract with a local liquor chain that is connected to them. Not the same selection with kirkland brands. This is obviously a liquor license issue where connected chains have them and costco was out of luck. Decided not to support the liquor store chain with my purchase. I will look for a mom and pop store for that.

Costco doesnt have diesel gas and in South Carolina this makes no sense. Customer in line didnt have a membership, so the cashier let him sign up for one with four customers behind him. Send him to the membership desk. In the checkout lines customers are butt to butt with each other. I dont know who came up with that idea. Its uncomfortable to me to have someone I dont know touch me while Im checking out.

Were new members but really like it so far. We joined hoping to make better use of our monthly budget. We are still learning of all the extras that are offered to the members only wholesale warehouse. Highly recommend the $1.50 lunch special, 1/4lb. Beef hot dog & soda.REAL BARGAIN !!! I was on hold for 20 minutes tonight only to get a snippy response to my question. I was not impressed. Most of the staff were friendly when we were in the store. Prices are comparable to Sams some things higher some lower. There seems to be a better selection of organic products over Sams. Too bad they built it out in Harbison.

My favorite store on the planet!! I have been shopping at Costco for at least 25 years. Always very satisfied. Staff are friendly, happy and courteous!! Quality products at great prices!! I use to have to drive to Charlotte to shop here. So when Costco came to Columbia I was ecstatic!!! LOVE my Costco!!!

Great store, but they should have built it away from the I-26 traffic disaster. Lexington county would have been better with 7% instead of 8% sales tax. I still like it much better than Sams Club because they have cheap top tier gas and cheap propane refilling. Also some higher quality products.

Sooooooooo much better, cleaner, Excellent workers, better prices than Sams Club. If Sams Club wants to stay around, they better step up their game. I have both memberships and wont be renewing my Sams Club this Year because of all of the horrible experiences I have had in the past.

Love Costco. They stopped carrying a few things though that I loved and one that they just demoed which I really loved. Keep hoping they bring them back. Food court area is a bit small. And dont let the liquor store cool you. Its not a Costco liquor store which is a big bummer.

I went with a friend who has a membership to see if I want a membership. I didnt see much difference from Sams except that their employees are much friendlier. Not sure if thats because they are new and trying to attract customers, or if that will continue to be their standard.

Costco is a great store for bulk foods and special pricing on other wares and services. This store is new to the area and very nice. The staff has always been very helpful and cheerful. Definitely check out their pharmacy and optical, because they have the best pricing around.

Their,business model is sound. They have happy, knowledgeable staff. They have the worlds biggest pies. They have bicycles. I think they might have ALL the things. Just not with regularity. So.... Put on your adventure hat, set a budget, and go have fun. Also...HOT DOGS

I love Costco. So much better than Sams club in my opinion. They have a cafeteria area and food is very well priced. They are always handing out samples throughout the store. They sell a little of everything. I just wish they sold Goya coconut water there!

I love Costco!! My last few visits to this location, I have come home with produce that was partially spoiled or that spoiled quickly. They must not be turning their produce quickly enough, which is sad, because this is one of my main purchases there.
