Unfortunately Im writing now because of a very bad experience. We have been customers of the Palm Bay store since its opening. We were happy because we always had to go to Merritt Island before that. Today we were shopping for some rubberized mulch and found the shelf and display was empty, but there was a flat bed cart with about 15 bags between the supervisors desk and where the mulch was displayed. We did our due diligence to find out weather it belonged to someone or they were removing it to setup another display. The girl at the supervisors desk made inquiries on her walkie-talkie and no one took ownership. We took 3 bags and continued with our shopping. A short time later a cashier finds us and says those were being held for someone else, of course she didnt apologize for her ineptitude for not following up and putting a hold paper on the item or moving it between cashiers aisle like its customary and which I have seen and done myself. So as far as I was concerned they were not bought and still for sale and in my possession and I had already done my due diligence. The manager was called who was Alicia who we have known for a while and acted as if I was a stranger and offered no concession whatsoever for having to return the mulch. I being the manager would have let me have the three bags and given the other customers three bags for free. A manager is suppose to try and bring a happy ending to all parties concerned, she did nothing of the sort. I vow not to step foot in that store again. My contribution to your bottom line may not be significant but by no means is it paltry thru May of this year already payed $4543.92 on my Bjs credit card and last year the amount was $7302.76. By the way there are 82 bags in Merritt Island but your policy of not moving from store to store doesnt help the manager which in special circumstances should be allowed. Come on COSTCO

Just left over $500 worth of items on the conveyor belt because of the lack of empathy from management (Alicia). After spending an hour and dragging my 4 and 7 year old with me, I got to the register and realized I did not have my card. When Alicia looked it up they said it was expired. I just got a coupon in the mail for renewal and asked if they could honor it. They offered to ring up everything with a 20% surcharge and come back later to do the membership. The manager would not budge on it so I said I was not going to spend an extra $100 on my order. I called the corporate office and found out I have a 15 day grace period and the manager should have honored it. The corporate office provided me with a 3 month extension and a $25 gift card. Called the manager back to see if I could get the order back together and she hung up. No empathy here. Maybe its time to review how BJs treats members especially in this low volume store. I went to Sams and had a great experience. BJs was empty... Sams was busy... I was greeted and asked if I needed any help. At BJs the door person is just leaning against the wall talking with another employee. Sams had multiple registers open as the volume was a lot more, but there was only 1 line and 4 employees huddled around a desk in the cashier area. I give it 2 stars based on my cumulative visits.

I will not recommend BJs to any of my friends after buying tires from them. After spending $913.00 on tires my car came out with glue all over the tires. I will not be renewing my membership. I will be moving to SAMs

Its what you would expect of a wholesale club- wide variety of products with (usually) great prices in a large warehouse. I do enjoy the selection here quite a bit more than some other clubs I have been to.

Great store with a larger choice of natural and organic foods to choose from than some of the other large wholesale clubs. And the Berkeley Jensen line of products are a cut above the Sams Choice products.
