Half Moon recently made a substantial donation of items to the American Fisheries Society for a silent auction we held at our annual Southern Division meeting this year. This money will help foster sustainable fisheries research in the Southeast and maintain a crucial collaboration between aquatic scientists all over the United States. They were more than willing to make a contribution as they are always striving to enhance sustainability initiatives in South Carolina and elsewhere. No other outfitter provides such stellar customer service and excellent product selection while also going above and beyond to contribute to sustainability. Whether you are looking for casual apparel, technical wear, or you want to get information on outdoor activities in the area, stop by one of their three Charleston locations and talk to their friendly and knowledgeable staff!

This is a store with a great selection of cool stuff. However, their approach toward customer service could use some work. We were in today, and purchased about $180 worth of merchandise. As we were completing the sale we asked if they had a restroom, and were told that they did not have a public restroom and they directed us down the street. I can understand if someone just popped in and asked to use the restroom. But this was after we had spent significant money in the store and had even purchased some Half-Moon Outfitters branded merchandise. We left, thought about it, and returned our purchases. There are too many stores out there that dont treat their paying customers like this to spend money here.

A favorite outfitters store next to Mast. Their own line of clothes are really nice. Youd never think survival when walking on King Street, but guaranteed to have the essentials if you need some sun screen, a wide hat for the sun, or better shoes like Chacos for wondering around. Good people.

We love shopping here whenever we are in Charleston. The staff is friendly and helpful and they have some great stuff. We usually pickup a few extra t-shirts for friends and relatives.
