Whenever I visit North Carolina I make a point to stop at Get:Outdoors. They have kayaks for rent, maps of all the local waters to put them on, and an amazing staff that always goes the extra mile to make sure that you are prepared to hit the water safe and secure for a good time. Their showroom is expansive and best of all they carry the Native Watercraft line of fishing kayaks in addition to tons of white water play boats. They also have a lot of videos, books, stickers and gear. Their selection of paddles is amazing. Its basically the outdoor adventurers dream.

I travelled 2 hours to buy a kayak that Get Outdoors had in stock. When I pulled up in the parking lot it was like Wow, look at this place, kayaks and gear heaven! I dealt with Cory and he is 5 stars excellent. He gave me help and advice I might never thought of because Cory is a kayak fisherman himself. A real pleasure to deal with. I have never seen so many different brands of kayaks and canoes in stock in one place. The amount of associated gear was mind blowing. I recommend that you visit and buy your outdoor gear from Get Outdoors.

I must say that Cory at Get Outdoors really went above and beyond for me. I bought a kayak from him and he made the process super easy! Im an active duty service member and Cory made it a top priority to insure the accessories were installed and ready for pickup as I was limited on time and being home. As long as Cory works at Get Outdoors I will always shop there for my kayak and kayak accessories!

Fantastic experience purchasing Invert Paddleboards, paddles and gear at Get Outdoors. Dana took lots of time explaining each board during the demo weekend in April. Had a great experience here. They made sure we were absolutely satisfied with our purchase. The owner personally helped us try on kayaks for almost an hour. We drive an hour and a half just to come here because of their customer service. They also have kayaking classes.
