My phone was not holding a charge, took hours to charge 15 percent, and then other times the charge was incorrect. Basically the only time my phone worked was when it was plugged into the charger which defeats the purpose of a cell phone, and even then it would turn off multiple times. So I brought it in and was rudely told the issue couldnt be "authenticated." So Im lying then? I told the rep take it off the charger and it will die. She didnt do that but continued to tell me there was no problem other then my apps which could drain the battery. She ran a standard battery check and pointed out my 5 apps that werent even running continuously. What do apps have to do with the battery holding a charge!? She then said they were 3rd party apps. Pinterest? Ah yeah, obviously. Again, irrelevant. I played the hypothetical game and asked what should I do, uninstall all my apps and hope that works? And if it does, it still doesnt solve the problem because whats the point of a smartphone that can only call and text!? Why am I paying $600 when its a glorified paper weight? She then told me if it is the battery that Id have to replace it myself and to go to Amazon or Best Buy. I have insurance. I pay monthly for mobile protection. This was VERIZONs problem and after going to Best Buy and finding out that the back of the phone was starting to warp due to a swollen battery I finally got tech support to replace the phone. The back of the phone doesnt come off so it doesnt have a battery that can be replaced which seems like something somebody at a Verizon Wireless store that deals with cell phones all day should know! If anyone else has this problem dont let Verizon give you the runaround. These Samsung phones have been blowing up because of swollen batteries in a case that doesnt have a back that can come off. And the person that works at this Verizon is damn lucky that I didnt listen to her moronic advice and uninstall apps while a problem that is safety related was not addressed! But, she did give me one piece of good advice...as soon as I pay off this phone I AM GOING TO AMAZON TO GET THE FIREFLY PHONE. Im sick of this rude, negligent BS from Verizon. Can you hear me now?

Update: Now I see why this store poorly rated. An item was sold to us and we were it told that it was a flat one time fee. Turns out there was 10 monthly so when were turned the item was charged a 35 dollar restocking fee. Im glad I did fill out customer survey yet. Untrustworthy store. So not only lose your one good rating and you also get a bad customer service review (Ill also go on the Verizon website to complain about the unethical practices). Hope it was worth the 35 dollars. I feel its worth it to expose your practices to potential customers. Original: The staff at this location were excellent. They stayed an hour after closing to help wife and I pick out phones, a plan, and accessories. They were very knowledgeable and were very good with my 2 year old daughter who was running around for the store. We first went to the store across the street next to Fridays because of the better reviews. But they are just a Verizon Prefer Vender and not Verizon. The two people working were very nice but they had no idea what they were talking about. They didnt know the offers or the plans. Couldnt apply my corporate discount. My wife actually started to think about staying with AT&T after we left. Thankful we drove across the street. If you are buying a new phone and / or plan, do yourself a favor and go to a real Verizon store. I dont know what staff the other 2 reviews were working with when writing their reviews but the associates and manager we dealt with were fantastic. So much so that I was inspired to write my first review. Ever.

I went in to pick up a phone that I pre-ordered from the Verizon website and after reading some of the reviews here I was concerned what my experience would be like. I had a great experience here. The door was opened for me as I walked in and I was greeted right away. They pulled up my order and got my phone ready. While that was taking place one of the representatives (Richard) answered a bunch of questions I had about accessories intelligently and politely. While I was discussing the plan options I had selected for my order, even made a recommendation to me to help me save some money on my monthly bill! The door was again opened for me as I left. I felt like royalty! Id give this experience 10 stars if I could. Thank you to all who helped me during my visit! Id recommend this store to anyone. Oh! And to top it off, I got a text from the GM of the store today thanking me for my business and asked if there was anything else they could do for me. All aces in my book!

I have had issues with this store on a few occasions. They failed to cancel a phone and its number and took 3 visits to the store and 3 calls to customer service to straighten out. This happened after I canceled the number and the store clerk confirmed was canceled. In the end, I paid for nearly a years worth of service on a number I canceled, because I was told I could not get a refund from the store "because they dont make mistakes." Arguing with them, and showing them bills and paperwork was fruitless. They just smiled and said they were not authorized to make a refund, and when I said who could? They sent me to a Black Hole that resides inside Verizon when they dont want to fix their mistakes. I like my service, but as far as the store goes, a retard colony on a good day.

Had a technical problem with my phone. The consultant was unable to fix, so they got the manager. After about an hour of testing, trying different sim cards, they diagnosed that the phone had a hardware problem, so they ordered me a new one under warranty. They then helped me upgrade to the I Phone 6 for my gf, made it so the plan was affordable to what I was paying now, and still able to buy some of the accessories. Then John went over the bill with me to show what each charge would be. They were very busy, but they do take the time with EACH customer to find the solution to what they need. If you dont mind waiting a few moments, they will find what you need. Great customer service!

There were 6 employees visible when I arrived. Not one greeted or looked at me. I waiting approximately 15 minutes before someone yelled out "whose not signed in?". The accessory I wanted to see was behind the counter so he said I had to wait to look at it. I waited another 15 minutes before walking out. I couldnt wait for 10 customers ahead of me to buy new plans and phones before simply seeing an accessory I was possibly interested buying. I went the the ntx verizon store across the street and they were busy as well. But I was greeted instantly and out the door with my accessory within 5 minutes. That will be my new Verizon store for now on.
