These people give pawnshops a bad name. We had a burglary at our house. The detective suggested told me they checked the pawn shops but I should check as well. The first time I went in with my two year old daughter they were nothing but rude and dismissive. Told me they hadnt bought anything since the new year. The second time I went in to buy back some of my wifes jewelry, that had been sold there the day before I came in the first time, they were again rude an unapologetic. These guys buy stolen goods and help the criminals. Never go there and certainly never buy anything from them. If I could give a quality lower I would.

I read the review of the person who said they buy great jewelry there. I am wondering who has the diamonds that were in the ring I pawned. When I paid the money to get my ring back only two weeks after pawning it, I got home and realized these are not the same stones. When I immediately called the shop, the man immediately hung up on me. I now have to report them to everyone and take police and legal action. I dont understand how people can do something like that to someone. I would know the main diamond in my ring anywhere. Now it is gone. I want it back and I wont stop legal action until I get it back.

Just went there to sell some gold and some other things and their customer service was absolutely horrible. They treated me and my friend like we didnt know what we had and tried to give us a lot less than what the gold was worth. I highly suggest you pick a different pawn shop to do business with.

i took a gold chain there to pawn because i needed the $. they tested it and told me it wasnt real and offered me a really low price for it. i knew better of course. i had had the chain 4 2 years n nothing had worn off. i ended up going to another pawn shop and they tested it and gave me 600.00$

I have been visiting Main Loan for 25 years. I stop in every year or so to look at guitars. Jeff always recognizes me and is friendly. I have been able to get solid deals and Jeff is up for bundling a couple of things together for a sweeter deal. No issues at all with the Kaplans!

Not sure what happened with the other reviewers. Been going here for years never had any bad experiences and always get top dollar for loans. They have even held my items longer than they had to when I missed payment deadlines since I was a repeat customer.

Wanted to Pawn something and we agreed on contract, rushed me into it, and then said his computers were down and of course he was lying. He just wanted to buy my 3,000 dollar gold watch for 550 dollars out right with no pawn agreement...DONT TRUST THESE GUYS!

These people are thieves and should not be in business. If you pawn any jewelry, you should expect them to steal the stones from the jewelry and replace them with fake or lower quality stones. These people are evil.

I have bought things there and the two gentlemen that waited on me are very smart and just cool guys. I do not know them personally but I like them. I am only a buyer and I bought a few guitars and one shot gun.
