Busy Beaver is a great little alternative to the big box stores. The staff is usually able to lead you in the right direction, however buy power tools somewhere else because what they have is usually not very high quality. I like BB for the select pine they typically have in stock is straight as an arrow. Something you have to search for in other stores.

This is my first stop for home improvement items. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to find when youre looking for something. The prices are comparable to what you would pay at the larger home improvement stores and they usually have exactly what Im looking for.
