Horrible, horrible experience. I contacted Molineaux on their website and I told them I wanted to have my kitchen done with ceramic tiles. They had a good offer, so I said, why not? I wanted a ceramic tile kitchen for a number of years now. Next thing I know one of their employees shows up at my house and brings ONLY vinyl tiles. It was after work like 6pm-ish. He lays them down on the kitchen floor. I didn’t touch them, I didn’t flip them over to see that they were the sticky kind. They looked like ceramic but they were vynil. I was more preoccupied with the color. Ok, I chose a color, he writes the order, grand total 4k+. I ask how long is going to take, he say a day and half since they have to come the next day to put grout (?!) Fast forward two weeks. I just had my kitchen done. I came home and I felt like fainting. There’s no grout lines. They are the cheap, sticky kind. I felt like crying. My son says: the dirty vinyl tiles we had before looked much better than this. He was right. I HATE my kitchen. I wanted ceramic, with grout and for 4k I got the cheap sticky kind. If I wanted the vinyl tiles I would have done it myself, because this is the cheapest way of flooring possible. More than this, if I wanted vinyl I would have bought the sheet vinyl, so at least there are no lines and there won’t be danger of corners peeling off. Now I realize the salesman didn’t bring ANY ceramic tiles with him. I have no idea: doesn’t Molineaux have ceramic tiles? Or the salesman – a middle age man - had no idea what the difference between ceramic and vinyl is? And why didn’t I touch them? I feel like ripping off my kitchen floor. It is so ugly I can’t look at it. I cant live with this. I’m going to going to have it redone. This is intollerable, to spend this much money and have a kitchen that looks so cheap and so ugly.

I met in my home with Bill Pollack , who was very accommodating with my schedule, on an evening in late October. He brought samples, as well as a wealth of information. My floors were scheduled for installation in under 2 weeks, with delivery of the product 3 days before. On the scheduled day, the installer called me 1 hour prior to arrival. The group arrived and I have never seen such diligent and efficient workers. They arrived at 9 AM and were gone by 3 PM, furniture moved, floors installed in 2 rooms and 2 closets, furniture returned to proper places! They were careful with the furniture , walls and stairs, and spotless upon leaving, except for the expected wood dust. They explained how to care for my new floors and made sure I was satisfied before leaving. And what a difference...Beautiful! I chose Molyneaux because a family member used them before and the great deal of 3 year financing and a percentage off after spending a certain amount. I only had one complaint that the initial paper work did not include a before and after discount price and what my monthly installment would be. Other than that, I was most pleased, from the sales person, Bill Pollack, to the incredible installers and the beautiful product.

Due to other home projects taking precedence, I waited over 3 years before I could finally replace my kitchen floor. The day finally came that I could purchase a new floor. I had stopped at a local flooring showroom. Despite the showroom hours advertised – nobody had arrived to open the store. My concern was not knowing if they could be trusted to provide good service if they cannot even open on time. I went to Molineux in Robinson and Justin L. was there to greet me. We discussed my concerns about getting a new kitchen floor and having it done right. The very next day, he and Ron C. came out to measure and brought samples with them. We discussed different options for the floor. They were both very personable and a delight to work with. We wrote up the order and they provided me with an installation date, which they honored. The gentlemen who installed my floor were also very pleasant and professional. They did an expert job installing the floor, down to the last detail. There was no mess or any signs that they were working here other than a beautiful new floor. If you want good customer service and a job done right, I would recommend visiting Justin at Robinson Molineux.

We needed to replace carpet in our main living area and master bedroom. We went to the Molyneaux showroom in North Fayette and met salesperson Bill Pollock, who came to our home the next evening and explained the features of different samples. We chose our style and colors. I even called back to change the colors and he made another trip so we could see the colors in different lighting. We scheduled the installation. The installers arrived on time and got to work immediately to tear out the old carpet, clean the wood floors underneath in preparation, and install the new pad and carpet. They moved all the furniture out of the way, which was not easy since the largest rooms were involved. They were very courteous and worked all day. When they were done, they put everything back as it was. They explained how they finished the thresholds to other floors. Each was done beautifully. They packed up the old carpet and took it away. We are very pleased with the results. Our 9 month old daughter loves crawling on the thick plush carpet. Our house feels like new.

After deciding to replace our upstairs bedroom carpeting with something new and fresh, the first place I decided to contact for an estimate was Molyneaux. I have seen their commercials on tv and the testimonials are always great. Now I know why! Jon Snyder was one of the nicest salespeople I have ever dealt with. Not pushy, but completely thorough with all of the facts about the company that put them above the rest of their competitiors. And plenty of carpet samples for me to pick from. Even though our project is not a big one, he treated us as if it was just as important as a whole house sale. We had another company come out for an estimate(the company that had already installed other carpet in our house) and the salesperson truly acted irritated by having to come out for such a small job. Needless to say, Molyneaux will be installing our carpet and I cant wait to see it! I am confident it will meet and exceed my expectations.

Original Post: Molyneaux installed new carpeting in 3 rooms + stairway in our home. The installers did great work, especially considering the amount of furniture that they had to move. The new flooring looks wonderful and feels great underfoot! The only oversight was the upgrade to thicker carpet that the consultant recommended - a couple doors are too long, but it appears they are going to work with us to have someone come out to correct. ------------------------------- Updated Post: After this carpet install, we hired Molyneaux for addtional flooring work to complete the rest of the house - carpet and engineered hardwood. The installers did fabulous work and they addressed the length of the doors as promised to clear the new flooring height. The scheduling process and shopping experience was convenient and a good reason to choose Molyneaux.
