My experience with this establishment did not go any further than a 2min phone call. with. Chip I told him the car I was interested in a 2005 Camry he had listed, he just paused to the point that I had to say I am waiting for you to tell me about the car that was listed with no vin-nbr, no-photo but with a description that the car was phenomenal At that point he started stated in with sales pitch about the car would go fast and he just listed the car and had all ready receive an extraordinary amount of calls about it.he also went on to say that it had a cracked windshied but the price must be right because of the number of calls that he has received. I responded that there were similar cars out there that have sit on the market for 3-6 mos he became combative and started to talk very loud as if he did not want to hear a thing I had to say, at that point I told him he was combative and to have a nice day and hung up he was still ranting when I hung up. I ask who in their right mind would want to purchase from someone with a personality like that. Its hard to believe the rating on some of these reviews are LEGIT Good Luck with you purchase everyone P.S. Some of these car dealers need to go to customer service and appreciation school. It appears that because they run a fly-by-night dealership that they perceive their customer to be desperate and that gives them the right not to treat them with any dignity and respect

I definitely felt duped not a week after I bought a car from this place. I bought a 99 chevy malibu with very low milage, pretty bad rust damage but it didnt look terrible at the time. The day I took the car home, an overwhelming gas smell came from under the hood. (It had both an emissions and inspection sticker from that month, I truly think their mechanic just slapped the sticker on) I took the car back the next day for repairs. Their mechanic replaced a small piece under the hood and they assured me that was the issue. What happened next is the reason I am rating this place 2 stars. The small piece that was replaced did not fix the gas smell. Bringing it back, the two employees simply danced around the problem. It was the equivalent of a "well, that sucks". After taking it to a local auto shop, I found there was a leak in the gas lines under the passenger side. I had to take it elsewhere. I made a big mistake telling these people it would be my first car.

Started off as a GREAT experience, but less than a year later I started to have a lot of small problems with the vehicle that was sold to me. I decided to trade it in and found out that not only was the car previously totaled and had 6 different owners, the mileage on the vehicle is NOT THE ACTUAL MILEAGE. I will admit that I was at a desperate time in my life and did not ask for the carfax but me and the salesman discussed the history of the vehicle and he never mentioned anything other than the fact that it had been stolen before. I take this as a learning experience but I will never purchase nor recommend ANYONE to this auto center ever again. Some people may have gotten lucky purchasing a vehicle from this lot but be careful dealing with Transparent Auto Center. He could possibly cost you in the long run.

I made several calls to Chip and Brandon about a 2002 Lexus. They returned every voicemail I left and had car checked by a mechanic for us. When told their hours were a little inconvient for us they volunteered to open early or stay late. Best of all my husband said they were very easy to work with. Worked with us on a price. Again my husband explained that it would be a while for us to come get the car and 2 of the 3 employees left. One to drive the car we bought, another so theyd have a car to get back and my husband drove his car. We are in Penn Hills so it wasnt a short ride or on their way. The car runs great and I would recommend them to anyone.

I was apprehensive about buying here pay here lots.I filled out a credit app online for a 2005 sion. At 11pm. by 930 the next day chip called to inform me I was approved...with a small downpayment within an hour I had my car...since we purchased the sion we have put over 3000 miles on it with trips to cleavland.now we are taking it to myrtle beach...this is a professional car dealership who treats his customers with utmost respect and sells high quality vehicles for an extraordinary low price I would recommend my 95 year old grandmother buy a car off of Chip. The guys down at Transparent really helped me out. i didnt have really any credit and dont make enough to buy it outright, but they somehow got me approved for financing and just $500 down payment! its not the prettiest car out there, but i love my 07 ford focus. i recommend these guys to everyone needing a car now
