Absolutely terrible experience at one of the stores (Norristown, PA). I had a simple question, and I stood at the counter with an employee (name of Tyrone) standing right in from of me counting change from a register. He did not acknowledge my presence - not with a "Hello, can I help you?" nor a Hello, Ill be right with you." I understand that a clerk may be otherwise occupied, but some acknowledgement of a customer is a reasonable expectation. No, it was like I was not even there. After a few minutes, I said "Hello? Do you see me?" He said "Of course I see you. Cant you see I am doing something? Just wait until I am finished!" I said, "Okay, never mind. Ill just go." To which he responded, "Okay, thats good, you should just leave." This encounter was so agitating that I called the 800 customer service number, who told me that I had to call the Regional office or District office or whatever they call it. I called the local office and was told that there was no one there to speak with, but that a message would be passed along for a call back later in the day. After a few days, I called again and the person answering the phone seemed very concerned about my store experience and also concerned that I had no call back and had to call a second time, but again there was no one there who had any authority to discuss the matter. Again, no call back. I dont know which was worse - my bad experience in the store, or the lack of a call back from the Regional office. I gave up after that, and I will in the future will avoid AutoZone stores altogether. As far as auto parts chains go, there are other choices, and the others are better. By the way, a friendly clerk at Pep Boys helped me locate the part, which they had in stock.

I received three different rack and pinion steering for a car and all three were defective I still had to pay my mechanic the management was not willing to help me I had to call customer service with resolve my problem part two of AutoZone I just had to order another racket district manager was a total do you know what I mean very arrogant disrespectful I have been a faithful AutoZone customer so now Im looking for another parts store Im returning this rack and receiving a full refund plus my core charge Im still stuck with paying my mechanic again I dont know who refurbishes their parts but I suggest you go somewhere else if you dont want to Total headache full if there was something less than one star I would give it to AutoZone bad business

Called yesterday for the availability of a CR1620 car key battery. Three times the sales associate asked me what the part# was & what was it for. I was eventually told that it was in stock and the price was also given to me. Went there this morning to find out that Auto Zone doesnt even stock that part! I dont expect sales associates to know anything about cars. I was one for 3 years, but when someone gives you the part# 3x and you say its in stock when its not is just a waste of my time!!

I have been here before and was helped I got light bulbs for my break lights and needed a new battery for my car alarm first he wouldnt open the car alarm , ok I get that they dont want to break it .... but with the light I even needed to buy the little star screw driver so I could change my light which I had to redo because I put in the wrong one. But while I was doing my light they all walked out to look under a mans hood .

I went to autozone today, because I needed to change my oil and also my cabin filter. I dont know what everyone else experience, but when I needed help I got it right away. Mr fox even came out to my car to make sure that some other filter didnt need changing, something I didnt know about. Mr fox also found me a discounted oil which is always a plus. The communication was great and I got everything I needed, thanks Mr fox / germiah

I went here last winter to replace my car battery on a very very cold day because my battery wasnt cutting it. The old one barely started my car so I ran in on my lunch break and got one, and they installed it for free in the freezing cold. Got back in time and was able to grab a hot and ready from Little Caesars down the street on the way back so I even got to eat within my hour break. Good guys here.

I only go here in a pinch and even then avoid it when possible. The staff knows very little about cars and is unable to help a lot of the time. There are at least 4 cash registers and Ive never seen more than 2 used even when the line is 10 people long. They are really aimed at people that need an air freshener or want to toss a larger exhaust tip on their car.

The staff did not paid attention to me and I felt I was lost in the store. In such kind of a store you need to have like 6 people and only 2 people are working when I was there and one was doing mistakes and the other employee is pissed off.

Salesman was informative. Tried to charge me full price though, for my purchase. The sign clearly stated "buy one, get one free". In the end, he changed the price in the register and I left content.

Helpful staff! They usually have what I need. Quick in and out. Wish they would clean up the parking lot. The parking lot is always full of trash and LOTS of spilled vehicle fluids
