I would rate this Giant Eagle much higher if it wasnt for the people in customer service. They are always miserable and rude. My last experience there I was in the self checkout line and I noticed I forgot my Giant Eagle Advantage Card and as I was trying to look it up in the computer system a nice cashier (young gentlemen) came to help me. He told me that he would just use his Advantage card and I could take my receipt to the Customer Service Desk and then they would transfer it to my personal card so I could use the fuel points. So I was thinking this was going to be an easy transaction and not take me very long, WRONG! The lady in customer service kept rolling her eyes at me telling me she doesnt know who told me the wrong information but there was no way she could transfer points that way. She was not willing to help me and she was completely ignoring the fact that I just spoken to someone who told me that she could do it and long story short it took about an hour to get her to finally call a manager over to help her. When the manager came over she was quickly able to fix the problem and showed the other lady that gave me such a hard time how to do it. The customer service lady did not ever apologize or even acknowledge that she was wrong and still continued to be rude even after the problem was fixed. Honestly for that kind of customer service I shouldve just went to Walmart!!!

This Giant Eagle is nice and clean, and the aisles are mostly large enough to get by. However, it seems like almost every time I go in this store, the layout changes. It sometimes takes me longer to find one or two items that recently moved than it usually takes to complete my entire shipping trip. The aisles are also unbalanced, and so half of them are always empty, and the other half has severe congestion and it is hard to get past others. I also dont like how Giant Eagle keeps stopping stocking other brands to promote their own. I find that their brand is a much lesser quality but for a premium price. This store is already more expensive than the alternatives. There is a good selection of vegetables, but freshness is a major issue. I typically only buy vegetables from this store that I know I will use that day, otherwise I know I will likely be tossing them out. The biggest positive of this store is the fresh fish counter. There is a nice selection, including pre-marinated and other prepared fish. The meat counter is also a bonus, as they have specialty burgers, kabobs, and pre seasoned meats that are oven and grill ready. I also like the bakery and prepared foods, which includes a hot foods bar, salad bar, olive bar, and entree, pizza, and sandwiches counters.

Giant eagle has a lot of options the other grocery stores in the area do not which is why its typically the one I frequent. However, their meat prices are generally higher than other stores and its not always of better quality. I like the hot foods and sushi bar, and the fact that its 24 hours. Sometimes they will put some of the popular deli meats and cheeses out for after deli hours which works well for me because I work nights and would otherwise have to sacrifice my sleep schedule to grab some sliced swiss or turkey. They also have "meal deals" that seem to change weekly(I may be wrong about how frequently they change but they always have them) which bundles a few freshly made giant eagle foods to make a whole meal. Ex:egg rolls, fried rice, and general tsos chicken for 14$ instead of like 25$ if you bought it all seperately. Ive also seen them with soups, pizzas, hoagies, rotisserie chickens, etc. So theres a lot of variety for really good savings.

I used to love this place but now they are doing way too much remodeling. Theyve taken out a good bit of the cosmetics section and moved things around for the 3rd time in the last few months. It makes it very difficult to shop here. They do have many items other grocery stores dont have but now with them constantly shuffling items around they may have an item but you might think they dont because you simply cant find it. The store is clean and the produce is fresh but way over priced! We all know where to go for low prices on good fresh produce! Bathrooms are kept clean and are handicapped accessable.

This is a VERY large grocery store, which carries almost anything and everything any grocery store has to offer. If you are looking for a smaller, independent grocery store, this is NOT the store for you. But, if you have mobility issues, they have free electric scooters, with an attached shopping cart. It has a deli, bakery, fish & seafood counter, salad bar, sushi bar, olive bar and hot foods counter inside the store. There is a full- service pharmacy, with a drive- thru service. In the front of the store, there is a bank, hair salon and eye glass boutique.

The self check out requires a membership card to use. The lines are all packed, with almost all shoppers having completely filled their carts. There is no space for a separate bagger and cashier, the cashier has to scan and bag all items themselves. The conveyer to place all items are incredibly small, especially when all the shoppers have their carts packed. This entire store has purposely been made to make it as slow as possible to go through the checkout process.

Love this store. After years of Ukrops in VA, I was spoiled. I must have tried every supermarket in Pittsburgh before I found this previously hidden gem. Clean, inviting, prepared foods, salad bar, Sushi, pizza, I am in heaven. It is a little farther than most but well worth the trip. Make sure you sign up for eAdvantage. And use your gas perks. Freebies and extras are the icing on the cake.

I went to this giant eagle supermarket primary because of its convenient location and also for the fact that I do my banking with citizens bank. This particular location is a well kept and clean market. I like this one because it has a good size cafe where I would buy a small meal and eat at the cafe. Cheers to the staff and management. Keep up the cleanliness

This is our upscale Giant Eagle for the eastern suburbs of Pittsburgh. Monroeville is a ritzy place to live and a ritzy place to buy food. But this store and the one in Edgewood Towne Square have decent food already prepared for you to buy. The last time I got chicken at Edgewood Towne Square it was so bomb that I thought I was in a 10 star restaurant. Realy

While they usually have a great selection of beer, I have found that a great deal of it is old. Definitely take a look at the bottled date when buying here because the last two times I went I came home with beer that was bottled almost a year prior. I dont think the beer companies would like the fact that they are selling stuff that is so old.
