Been building my bow with weekly orders for the past month and a half collecting all the parts/accessories and extra gadgets ive always wanted/and or had to replace. Though I have not been home to personally inspect the packages and their content those accepting the shipments on my behalf have not stated any sign of poor packaging/mishandling. so major plus for shipping speed. pros: -large selection of products -wide range of price points per division -fast shipping speed -quality/reputable product line -excellent cust care via phone (though one guy I talked to i did not have a great impression, more of a elitist feel pushing towards the win&win product line focusing on the carbon risers) -reward points are a nice feature cons: -seam to do major business so demand seams to be greater then supply so you may end up on the waiting list for products you want -Would like to see more angles of products in the online catalog so you can see both sides of a riser or tab, ect. mostly this seams to fall into the lower end products but some of the higher end suffer from this as well -no charts for shaft selection (would be nice to see a chart list of all arrow shafts spines carried so you can quickly decided on the proper shaft -when buying arrow parts an option to select for the shaft/spine and all accessories that fit would be a major plus all in all I like lancaster Archery and plan to do more businesses with them as the years go on already planned on 2/3 more bows that I would like to get and so far Lancaster Archery can be sure that I will continue to trust in them until they give me cause not to(I think I would bet on the snowball in that one place before that)

I started learning target archery on an entry level compound bow about a year ago. After months of online research and window shopping, I made a day trip up to Lancaster to buy my first olympic archery bow. I dont come from an archery or hunting background, so I had a million questions, and I was a little concerned about whether or not Id get the detailed customer support I needed. In the end, I was extremely satisfied with the service that I received. They took the time to walk me through the entire setup process and explained all the adjustments they were making as they helped me assemble the bow. In total, I think they spent about 90 minutes working with me to set up and test the bow (for what its worth, I arranged my visit for 9am on a Friday, when the store isnt very busy). The salesman working with me was also very low-pressure. He actually talked me down to cheaper limbs and suggested that I just use the arrow rest and plunger that came with the riser I purchased. They seemed genuinely invested in helping me make smart, practical choices that would benefit me - even if that made for a smaller sale.

Im an amateur archer that was looking to upgrade my equipment. All of my information regarding archery prior to my visit, was composed of YouTube, internet forums, and my own trial-and-error. Naturally, I had some lingering questions that I couldnt find a clear answer online. I ended up getting helped by Brian. He didnt just answer my questions, but went out of his way to show and explain various pieces of equipment, such as the difference between a $20 sight versus a $300 sight, and what options a higher end plunger can offer, versus a basic one. All of the equipment I walked away with was suited to my needs. I was never pressured to buy anything, and I left the store with confidence in what I purchased. As I live a bit far from Lancaster, all of the equipment was delivered to my house. I received it promptly and nicely packaged. LAS is an excellent example of a successful business that thrives on passion and great customer service. Also, as stated above, Brian (I really hope thats his name) was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly!

UPDATE: I was wrong generalizing my opinion about one guy onto whole store. Their customer service manager called me, apologized and went an extra mile into fixing the problem, with honesty and respect, as one of iconic heroes in The Game of Thrones" : "A man can only admit when he was wrong and ask for forgiveness". Beyond reproach! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lancaster Archery Supply sold me a dysfunctional Winchester compound 5 years old bow as innocent clearance. On the first draw, string continued to unroll as cam stops did not exist, with zero resistance. The bow looked as self locked for while, but then self-released, badly injuring my left thumb. In the following communications, Lancaster Archery Supply did not give me a single direct answer on any of my direct questions. Do NOT EVER buy directly from Lancaster Archery Supply. Buy from local knowledgeable folks (even if resale same stuff) who see you as a long term customer, and wont sell you dangerous junk to make a quick buck.

Lancaster Archery Supply, Has always been a top 3 company for me to deal with as far as experience and inventory, their people and products have been A#1 for me, Run and archery program for a local academy here in, Florida, with approx. 200 to 300 students a year, we operate a year round program and we are about to start an after school archery program. If I need a product or a question answered, all I need to do is call Lancaster archery and the problem is taken care of and I dont like to wait a week to 10 days for my order to arrive and I normally get it with in 3 to 4 day after making my order. So thank you to all the management and especially the A#1 employees that are their, this is truly a company that cares about their customer and offer good pricing to their customers. First, the good. -The staff were beyond helpful and knowledgeable of everything. -In the end, I got a solid, quality beginner bow for cheaper than the website had stated. -The guys that assisted me were kind and patient, even going as far to check --twice-- for the specific limbs with my draw weight. Now, the bad. -It took over an hour to get everything settled, and the amount of staff there was relatively small. -The is a queue system for asking questions and purchasing, however, its existence was unclear until I had to ask. -It took quite a long time for something that shouldve taken half an hour. There were barely any people at the store. All in all, its a quality shop and they helped me get a quality bow that I could afford, and the staff were beyond helpful. If the customer service and speed of such were increased, itd be much better.

We ordered a couple of bows from +Lancaster Archery. After we placed the order the bows, we found out that one of the risers is on backorder, and they give us a date. No big deal. We can wait a few extra days. So we wait, and then they tell us that they will not know when their shipment will arive for another week. Ok so we wait another week. Now they tell us that we have to wait another month! And waiting that month is just to know when theyll receive before shipping to us. Is this typical for this company? Im really starting to dislike this company. They cant even get a commmitment from their suppliers. Im at a loss for what to do. They just expect us to keep waiting.
