I have never bought a new car before in my life, only have owned old cars. When i was ready to buy my car i did a lot of research and visited many VW dealerships. Many of these dealerships which i visited were not as supportive and respectful as Autohaus of Lancaster. Once i came tu Autohaus of Lancaster (my last dealership before giving up in buying a new car) I worked with Hernan from the start and he was willing to always work with me as the customer. He was respectful and did not pressure me at all when buying the car (especially being my first ever new car). I am happy now that i have established a relationship with Autohaus now and hope that this continue with future cars that i decide to buy in the future.

On July 6, 2013 my wife and I visited Autohaus Lancaster for the very first time. We are leasing a 9-3 Saab and the lease is about to run out. We are very interested in an Audi A4. We walked in and no one greeted us. We looked around the show room for thirty minutes before a sales person asked if we were being helped. The sales person was Mr. Groff. Groff is all I can remember from his name on his shirt. He gave us no sales card with his name and number. Finally, he got a white A4 from the lot turned the air on and got it cooled down for a test drive. During the time waiting for the car to cool Mr. Groff did an excellent job of explaining all the featured of the A4 model we were interested in. This model was in the show room therefore it was nicer inside then out. But it was still very warm in the show room. Then we go for a test drive. My wife drives first. We are not familiar with Lancaster. Mr. Groff gave us very little warning as to where we were going and where to turn. This made me very uneasy during my turn to test drive. The excellent point was the car was amazing to drive. The interior was superior, dash board features were top notch. We get back to the lot. We decide to see what the cost would be for the A4 they had that we loved. Well next adventure. Mr. Groff cant find a desk that a computer works. Mr. Groff starts gathering information from us which he need to work up a quote. It takes forty five minutes to do something that should take ten minutes. Then he goes looking for the sales manager. Cant find him. Then he goes looking for the used car sales manger. Cant find him. Mr. Groff needed them to find out what Autohaus would offer for our Saab. Wouldnt you thing if any salesman are working one of these to men would have to be available to sell a car? It is now seven oclock. We have been there since four oclock. Now Mr. Groff tells us he will call us in the morning with a price for the Saab and A4. He never calls. I thought it was strange when he let us go without a quote. Usually a car dealer knows once your there you need to make the sale.

A FIRST CLASS AUTO LEASING EXPERIENCE Audi Lancaster is a large dealership with a terrific philosophy of doing right by their customers which means highly competitive pricing and warm, informed, genuine and professional service by the various people involved in completing a transaction. From start to finish the transaction was relaxed and very satisfying, and well worth the trip to Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I negotiated my lease with Wray Beinhauer, the Audi Sales Manager, who couldnt have been nicer or more to the point. Wray went out of his way to give me an excellent proposal, “right out of the box” and did everything possible enabling me to complete the transaction, which involved out of state titling, within 24 hours. When I arrived in Lancaster, it was fun and productive to meet with Michael Wanner, the General Manager, who knows everything there is to know about car deals which helps when there are complications which often occur. At the dealership, I spent time with Hernan Diaz-Egg, a Client Advisor with a huge heart and smile, excellent product knowledge, and a dedication to making the transaction perfect. Hernan did everything possible to introduce the car’s various features to me with patience, precision, and very easily understood explanations, and promised to always be available for any questions. When I got in the car to leave, I noticed that the tank was full of gas, a very generous gesture that was never even mentioned to me by anyone. In today’s era of tight pricing and competition, this is a real cost to a dealership, for one car, or across a portfolio of sales, and I found it special that the dealer went to this expense, without even promoting the fact that they had. I left the dealership a few hours after arriving, and just a day after beginning negotiations. The drive back to Connecticut from Lancaster does take a while, but it was really enjoyable, since I was in my new “ride.” The experience with Audi Lancaster personnel and the dealership, was professional and eminently fair and very satisfying.

When I walked in the dealership, I had no intentions of walking away with numbers in my head, all I was going in for was to see what used cars were on the lot, and maybe even getting the chance to test drive one car. But as fate would have it, I was put in the very capable hands of one of Autohauss most personable employees, Hernán Diaz-Egg, almost as soon as I walked through the door he was there to greet me with a warm hello and a firm handshake. I was with my grandfather and father, to look at a used GTI. Looking around the lot I saw what was, in my opinion the exact car that I was looking for. After test driving the car, I was in love. But my grandfather was reluctant on chasing after a used cars, "They only bring problems!" he would tell me all the time. So I sat down with Hernán and discussed options that I could take where I would find a car in my price range and still get the feel and look that I desired. Hernán was ready for the challenge. After many visits to check with his manager he was able to find me the perfect car. A brand new Golf. Everything was falling into the right place, and Hernán was even able to negotiate a deal that worked in our price range, so everyone could come out on top. Once Hernáns job was done, he made sure that we were taken care of until we were driving off the the lot in the new car. Filling out the paperwork was a breeze, and everything was laid out honestly and clearly. I have been around many car deals, and this was possibly the easiest one that I have been apart of. Everyone at Autohaus was friendly and willing to chat and talk about cars and whatever else while you wait. Shopping for a car was as simple as shopping for a T.V. I cannot recommend this dealership enough, if you want a Volkswagen, Audi, or Porsche look no further to Autohaus, with their friendly staff and vast collection of new and used cars there arent too many places around that can compete, and once their buildings are completely done being renovated buying cars will be an even better experience.
