I strongly encourage potential buyers to look at other options before purchasing with Jones. When I went last week, it was one of the worst experiences I have had with car shopping! I had planned on purchasing through Jones. My husband and I test drove several cars, that went okay. However, when we were ready to work out the pricing, we were given numbers that were several thousand dollars higher than what we had researched as the fair market range for an Accord LX (base trim level) and EX (mid trim level). Furthermore, we showed them the Honda website with a special of $240 a month for the LX lease. They were trying to charge us about $100 more per month for the LX and they attributed it to "taxes" (that was untrue, the taxes were around $20). There was a lot of back and forth (so much time wasted) just to get to the advertised price. Furthermore, the sales manager told us he was not aware of this special. My husband and I were in disbelief, how could the sales manager not be aware of nationwide advertised specials (tv and internet)? It made no sense and it was very poor customer service. My husband and I agreed that Jones would not be getting our business. I requested online quotes from Ciocca, Ebersole, and Piazza. All gave me quotes for thousands less on the EX than what I got from Jones. I ended up going with Ebersole because they were straightforward and customer-oriented. I got a lease for an EX that was less than what Jones tried to charge me for an LX (nationwide special). I want honest, straight-forward, hassle-free car buying, so I will be sure to avoid Jones in the future!

I have been going to Jones since 1992 when I bought my first car. I also bough my second car from them. The Sales side is good! I also have been getting both these cars worked on by them for everything. They have been good up until about 3 years ago and the service department went in the gutter. They put an engine in my car that took almost 2 months. They dont return your calls and you have to keep calling them or going to the shop. They put a clutch in and every time you released the clutch, it shook the car like crazy. They couldnt figure it out. Recently went to change a half axle and found out they cross threaded my fill plug to the transmission and when the plug was removed, broke the fill neck on the transmission costing me another transmission. I had the transmission done at another shop and while at it, put a new clutch in. The new shop found out why the clutch shook when released. Jones used the wrong bolts when putting the clutch in! They also found that Jones didnt tighten the sub frame when they put the engine in, so they fixed that. The shop manager didnt want to hear this and walk away from me. Amazing how friendly they are when you dont tell them their screw ups. All in all, I would not recommend jones for anything bigger than changing oil or a light bulb. Buy a car from them but get it worked on elsewhere. Just sad how the service department went down hill.

Had a broken seat frame on my 09 Pontiac G6 which had made a clunking noise for over a year. At the time you told me it was nothing when it was under warranty. Now the steel frame actually broke causing part of the seat to become detached and lean when adjusted up. Since I didnt purchase the car from you and it was out of warranty, the service manager Don basically told me too bad. I paid $140 in labor to have it welded. This is after I paid you $277 to replace the heated element in the same seat that should not have gone bad but didnt argue that. Mind you, the seat frame is not a wear and tear item like a door switch. It was a defect in the manufacturing process of that steel frame. Now I am looking to trade or sell it for either a Ford Taurus or foreign make with better customer service. I am done being loyal to GM that couldnt give a damn about the safety of its consumers. I even called the corporate office. All they wanted to do was have me pay 1/3 of the cost for a new one which was $900. I am in the process of sending Tony Cervone, the PR Chief a letter and have already contacted News 8 on your side.

Today I took my 2008 GMC Acadia, great car by the way, to Jones to get a few things repaired while it was still under warranty. The struts in the rear power door had give out and needed to be replaced. While it was in I asked them to do the normal 30,000 service on the vehicle. When I got the message this afternoon that my car was ready, I was surprised by the total bill. The "30,000 mile service" was around $350. Needless to say, I quickly called back to find out why and was told that the price was the normal cost for them. I called no less than 8 other PA GMC dealers and found out there should be no real added expense at 30k, and was quoted an average normal price of about $60. When I contacted Jones again, they said that the additional cost was some sort of fuel-injector cleaner, and a tire alignment, neither of which was on the Acadia service plan in the manual. I would encourage anyone considering using Jones service department to steer clear. Update: After talking with the service rep a few times, Jones GMC agreed to cut the bill in half.

I just received one of the creepiest most deceptive pieces of marketing I think Ive ever seen. Got an envelope from this company to my home address correctly spelling my name on the outside, but inside was what was supposed to be a "leaked memo" between a "John" and "Brian"- with no other mention of me, why I was being sent this, or how they even got my info. The fake memo was meant to look like a handwritten note between sales reps, with a post it note and highlighted sections that "just happened" to indicate they were looking to buy my make and model of car. I looked at their website and did a live chat with one of their reps, who confirmed they mined my info from a public database when I registered my car. Someone thought this was a good idea? At best, it looks like theyre so incompetent they cant separate their internal memos from outgoing advertising, and at worst its an intentionally misleading invasion of privacy. Im not going anywhere near this place.

If I could give them zero stars I would! Dont take your Deisel powered vehicle here! Took my GMC Duramax Deisel 6.6L here for service engine light and exhaust emissions fault. Took all day long. Charged me a hefty bill and said it was an injector which they say they replaced. Not even 5 miles down the road lights came on again, took it back immediately, they claimed now its a different error code and they cant get the part cause its backordered, but claim its covered under warranty. So truck is now stuck in limited speed mode of 55 mph and could drop to 4 mph if the error codes arent cleared soon! Ive got a 500 mile trip coming up, 55 would be slow, 4 mph ... no way! Dealership was no help and this isnt the first time! I spoke to some Deisel experts and they said dont go back to that dealer and advised me to go to another dealer and even recommended what the best fix should be.
