I talked to John and Aaron on the phone, stating clearly that I was interested in the vehicle, and had financing lined up, only if they could negotiate the price down somewhere close to bluebook value. I give up overtime on a Saturday to test drive this car. After the test drive, Aaron takes me back to talk to me with his boss, John about the price. He wouldnt budge a dollar. Then proceeded to read my credit record aloud to make it seem as if my credit is the issue, even though I went there with credit already lined up! The issue was that these guys wanted 25%+ over bluebook for the vehicle, which no bank in their right mind would approve! They also failed to mention the clutch in the vehicle was slipping, this was also not in any of the ads, neither were the suspension clunks, front and rear. As soon as the turbo would start to boost, the rpm would climb while youd go no faster, then when youd let off the gas, the rpm would instantly drop to the speed the transmission was actually spinning - most likely caused by slip at the pressure plate. Aaron told me hed have this adjusted before the sale, even though this vehicle has a hydraulic clutch, which has no adjustment. John never mentioned the clutch so I assume he did not want to take care of it before selling the vehicle at 25%+ over bluebook, but kept insisting hed have somebody driving away in this car at that price in less than a week. The vehicle had already been listed for ~ten days, I offered to pay higher than bluebook for the car as is, they declined. Refusing an easy sale and letting money sit on the lot isnt a recipe for good business to me. Just as another reviewer mentioned, with the third party warranty offered by these guys, you may as well test your luck by peeing into the wind, the outcome will most likely have a more positive yield. Id have more confidence buying a car sight-unseen from the Gettysburg Auto Auction than from this crew. Steer clear at all costs.

BEST BUYING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD I have never felt so certain of my decision on buying a car. If you want to check out Keim, DO NOT HESITATE. Ask for Kevin. He assisted me during the whole process. He was always willing to help in any way he could and made the experience even better. He was always looking for more ways to help me, even if I had not asked. You could see that he was really passionate about helping others and that he had the customers best interest in mind. He was a genuine person, not only a sales associate, which made buying a vehicle a lot more comfortable. He was knowledgeable in every aspect of the car buying experience. I felt secure being in the hands of an employee who knows what they are doing. Along with Kevin, Kenny helped me understand warranties, credit information, and more, making me feel most certain about my decision on my car and affordability. They worked with me for over a week to try and figure out loan approvals and what vehicle would be best suitable for me. The whole time I was going through this process, they made it about me and finding a vehicle that I was satisfied with, in both price and quality. I am so astonished to see how much this dealership cares about the customers and how much effort they put forth to make their customers happy. With such a great selection of vehicles, the only difficult part of the process was deciding which one to buy. I have never had such a nice car at such a great price. I cannot say enough about this dealership, and there is no doubt that my next vehicle is going to be from Keim Pre-Owned. This is how buying a car should be. THANK YOU!

My wife and I bought 2 vehicles from Keim. The first vehicle we had for a year with no issues and ended up trading it in on a larger, 4wd vehicle. We ended up buying a 4 door Jeep. During the first week of ownership the Jeep had a random no start issue. For the next YEAR the Jeep continued to have the issue and was in their garage 6 times in total. Each time they were courteous about fixing it since it had been an ongoing problem since the week we purchased it. In July of 2012 we took the Jeep back for the same no start issue and was told by Kenny (my salesman) that they have paid enough diagnostics on it and they cant do anything for me. And I quote, my only option is to sit around and wait for a recall. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, especially for being a return customer. Also, I was told since we only had the Jeep a year, the negative equity was too bad for them to help us get a different vehicle without $5,000 down.. which meant they could help us but wouldnt make alot of money off of us. The NEXT DAY we went to another dealer and told them about our issue with the Jeep and they were able to put us in another vehicle that was pre-certified, with less miles and worth the same as our Jeep for $20 more a month.. Keim really only cares about their sheisty number games and making money off of unsuspecting people that are unable to get financed anywhere else. And another thing... the GARBAGE Preferred Warranties warranty they sell isnt worth the paper its printed on. Nothing is covered. You would be better off putting that $3000 in a savings account to pay for your repairs down the road from the garbage they sell.

I had bought a 2012 Jetta maybe 3 weeks ago, my salesperson was great. The service department is a whole different story. First of all the oil should have been well before they even sold the car, it said on the sticker to change it at 75,XXX when I bought it the mileage was around 76,000, preceding that when I got home I realized that a running light was out, the cigaret chargers werent working and there was no windshield fluid. The car has a 30 day warranty and was not sold as is. So the same day I bought it I had to spend an extra $15 in parts for the things that the service department neglected to fix. The following week I called the service department to ask about the oil, I spoke to the service manager Pete, who said there was no record of an oil change when they had gotten the car. When I repeatedly asked if it should have been changed before it was sold was hung up on. So I called back, I was angry and once again spoke to Pete. He offered to change my oil. So this past saturday I drive down and my sales guy asks how I like the car, I tell him I love it but was very disappointed in the things that I had to fix the same day as taking it home. He tells me to talk to Pete about it, so after my oil change I bring those things up to him and all he can say is "oh those arent the things I like to hear." What a piss poor service department. The car is still under warranty and they did not offer one thing to make up from their lack of inspection of the car. Very disappointed and will NEVER buy a car from them again.
