Everyone Loves Amber

This place is cool but it is a total scam! Everything is highly expensive and the manager is very cold and rude. Everything that I seen in this place is from amazon and eBay and you can get it waaaayyyy cheaper from those sites. For example, she has Native American tote bags that she charges $79 for but on amazon and eBay they are $35-$45. What a scammer! Its sterling silver Navajo turquoise jewelry that she charges $150-$300 for that are $15-$100 for elsewhere! Most items that are made in this store are not made by native Americans but were made in China. The reason why this place is going out of business is because the manager is just too darn greedy!

I have bought my OLD FRIEND slippers there for many years. Recently visited there for another pair and they didnt have my size so I settled for a pair of Minnetonkas. They are working quite well. My disappointment was that they are going out of business by the end of August. I remember passing this place when I was a kid on the way to Winfield to visit my grandmother. and now I am 70. It has been a mainstay along the Susquehanna Trail (route 11) and will be sorely missed by me and others I am sure. Has always been a pleasure to shop there.

We take our vacation in the beautiful PA Susquehanna area and we visit this gift shop every year. I have never had any problem there. The people there have been very nice. Products are not pricey for a gift shop. I have gotten t-shirts there, a hat, some things as gifts, some things for myself. I even got a rattlesnake tail there once. I dont know why the other bad reviews. Anyway, I wanted to put in my 2 cents. It is a unique shop and the people there were very helpful.

Great shop!! They have old style toys like I had growing up that you dont find anywhere now a days and their the kind of toys that actually last!! Prices arent bad at all, you get what you pay for & its quality merchandise. You dont find that very often anymore cause everything is made so cheap that they dont last.

Very nice merchandise. Sorry to see that they are going. I just discovered them. Claudia, you should probably look at more than just the cheaper touristy items in the store. Native made items are the more expensive turquoise jewelry, etc and are labeled as such.

We will miss this place. My brother and I use to visit here when we were children. I bought some moccasins and other the years I enjoyed buying various native American paraphernalia including rawhide wipes.

I dont know what people talk about when they say its overpriced, the prices are great! This shop has lots of cool and great Indian and other items. I was satisfied with what it is.
