I have frequently purchased from Best Buy for years. I do not know if it is just the Collegeville, Pa. Best Buy store, or it is all Best Buy stores. I will not purchase from the Collegeville, Pa. store again. I was deceived, and feel like I got ripped off. I purchased a camcorder from them that needed software to integrate with the computer. It took me almost 6 months to fill the hard drive space on the computer, and then all the crap went down. I started the software, now I am no computer genius, but I am not computer illiterate either. I started the software, tried to download it, entered the serial #s and nothing. After 5 phone calls, ended up Best Buy in Collegeville, Pa. gave me the wrong discs. I could not save my recordings to the computer and be able to watch them. Best buy ripped me off by giving me the wrong software, and they would not make it right. As a matter of fact, after I explained to them I wanted the disc, that was originally in the box with my camera, they hung up on me, the manager even hung up on me. I called 4 times, and they said they would return my call, and I have not heard from them for a week. NEVER use best buy in Collegeville. I usually use Montgomeryville, and King of Prussia, but beware this may be a full company problem. I would recind all remarks if they at least made it right, and gave me the things I truly purchased

SCAMMED AND LIED !!!!!! Long story made short this location advertised the Samsung gear s for months at 199.00 and never had the watch in stock. I asked the employees to take down advertisement and they laughed at me. They wanted me to pay 329 for watch order it, then have me return it and refund me the difference. Sounded very shady and I was not comfortable with that at all. Gm James Schinchinicimmi assisted and offered no help. Very rude and condescending!!!!! I felt like he was scamming his own company. It mad me feel very uncomfortably to trust he would follow through with his words. I tried calling best buy several times was hung up on and they even called the store multiple times before getting answers. They were frustrated how the location was treating them on the phone as well, Pathetic customer service. Why lose a great customer over such a small thing. The price match guarantee exclusion does not state watches are exempt with contracts. They need specify that if that is the case or they should follow what they advertise.... Price match guarantee should relate to there own stores!!!!!! Finally had to much and was transfered to a manager and we got no where he hung up on me too.... Never will buy a single item from Best Buy ever again!!!!!!! Lost a great customer

I live nearby and have had nothing but negative experiences here. Today I was told my Reward Certificate for $15 "does not work" even though I pulled up a screenshot of my account showing its existence and the $ amount. I had just printed the certificate an hour earlier! The manager would not even come out to speak with me. I was told it was due to some sort of computer issue. SO?? Even if there was some sort of issue on their computers, they should have provided me with the discount and cleaned it up on their end later. What happened to the consumer being right? They never have stock on newly released items and time and time again I think to myself, "Should have just bought it through Amazon or Gamestop." 90% of the staff is clueless and the inside of the store is frankly an embarrassment to what I once thought was a great company. So long Best Buy and good riddance!

Great Customer service for me on in early sept 2016. I am sure with any retail location you have some employees who arent helpful, and im sorry to hear anyone had a bad interaction with this location. But as a fellow retail customer service associate (retail clothing) I can honestly say I have NEVER had a bad experience here. Everyone is always as helpful as they are able to be. I have had to wait for an employee to be available but never had to wait long enough to get angry. This is a BUSY store, if you need customer service, go on a weekday. Dont go on a saturday and expect one on one service, retail doesnt allow enough employees for that. Be patient, do your research on your product before you get there and youll be fine.

The customer service at this Best Buy is above and beyond. They spent over 2 hours with me helping me decide on appliances. They were superbly attentive to my needs and were patient with me in making a decision. They made sure I was happy with my purchase and set us up for success by pointing us to the products that fit our needs. One of the associates went out of his way to bring us water bottles during the ordering process because they knew we had been there for awhile. I have never experienced such attentiveness and appreciation for business like this. Thanks Best Buy for making us happy customers, and we will be sure to come back soon!

Some of the staff members are awesome and helpful. I always have my car electronics installed at this location and the geek squad is helpful. The floor staff is horrible though. I was looking around last week and one of the employees followed me around trying to do so without me seeing him. When I looked directly at him he put on a smug smile and said "Can I help ya buddy!" I said no thank you Im just browsing. He grinned and slipped away, and kept staring at me from across the store. The whole thing felt condescending. I guess he thought I was being shady for some reason even though Im a regular customer.

Purchased a Fitbit in December, opened it up and used it for about two days. After using it, decided I wanted to upgrade the unit that I got. I was on ebay getting ready to sell it because I did not think that they would take it back. Before I clicked submit on my newly created ebay ad, I figured I should call bestbuy. Since it was within the time window, they had no problem taking it back, even without the packaging and refunded me the full price. I will definitely give them my business again!

Thank you to Steve Jon Andrew and Dillon who were able to recover my gift card holing a balance of over 400 dollars. (Realize I lost it later in the day after making a purchase) Im glad to see that there are honest people around here ! Best Buy should recognize these individuals for their honesty and hard work trying to find out what happened with my card. I was basically dismissed by Amex earlier so Im glad with the outcome even though it couldve been prevented by my carelessness

Customer service is always top-notch. When I have a question, it gets answered by someone who is obviously knowledgeable on the subject or has been trained properly. Im so glad to see Best Buy addressing the retail drone market where the only other option is online vendors. I am a dedicated Best Buy Browser and Ill often spend an hour or two just browsing the aisles for something that catches my eye. Keep up the good work Best Buy.
