This particularly store is not very clean. The store layout is one of the better ones, but each individual department is very frequently a complete wreck. This is always true of any department involving clothing, but specially small childrens clothing, and the boys department. Whatsmore, its very poorly stocked; often they only have one of things, including small things such as spatulas that theyd easily have the room for larger inventory. The people who work there are at best unknowledgable about their own store, and frequently downright rude, including managers. Separate departments such as Vision, Pharmacy, and Photography have different hours from the main store, and yet the switchboard is unable to tell you if you call what their hours are, and will instead, before youve time to say otherwise, will just transfer you to those departments where your call is left to ring and ring and ring.

First off, its Walmart, which starts out with only 3 stars, because of how the corporation treats employees. The corporation is among the largest in the world, yet by how employees are compensated, one might think they were closing stores. Poor corporate citizenship aside, this particular location suffers from apparent proximity to a significant sized population of homeless people. Almost every time I go in, I encounter a poor unfortunate soul, whom I detect by scent, most often before detection by sight. Ive never seen them mistreated by the employees, but at the same time, I hesitate to bring my family there, because I was followed around the store last year. My wife has been asked for money inside several times. Basically I frequently dont feel comfortable in the store, and I find better prices at Aldi on most food items, and higher quality products, & often better prices, at Costco

This is the WORST I repeat the WORST walmart ever!!!!!! For this to be a Supercenter, at 11pm they have 1 register open and the self check out and all other possible registers closed. This leaves a very long line full of angry customers wrapped around the store! Whoever the manager is of the Pottstown Store on Shoemaker Rd needs to learn about scheduling or either hire some help. There are people out there who need jobs!!! This Walmart should have never turned into a Supercenter. It apparently cant handle the volume a Supercenter gives. It really doesnt make good sense to have almost 20 people stocking shelves when you have a line full of people waiting. Either hire help or cross train the people you have stocking shelves to help when you have an increase of customers. It looks after 20 mins of people complaining before they decided to open self check out. Ridiculous!!!

When it became a super center, it was a decent place in the beginning. Now this place is a pig sty. Things strewn all over the place on the shelves. Racks of clothing are in total disarray. It looks like a bomb went off in some of the departments. Checking out is a joke. 20 something checkout lanes, but only 2 or 3 are open nearly every time. It tells me 2 things. Seems there are many people who shop there that are lazy. Its not that hard to put something back where you found it if you arent buying it. Same goes for the shopping carts. There are more of them in the parking places than in the cart returns. And perhaps if they paid a decent wage, there would be better staff, and more of them to keep the store maintained properly.

The pharmacy is a joke. Took a prescription in Wednesday and they waited until I left the counter to tell me they were out of stock. Said it would be filled by 5 pm Thursday and it was still out of stock. Then they said it wouldnt be in until Monday at 5 pm. Asked if they could transfer the script to the Exeter Walmart and they said they were having trouble getting ahold of them. I called the Exeter Walmart and not only did they pick up, they said they had the medication in stock and that they would contact the Pottstown Walmart to transfer it. Wtf?! Medication is not something to play with just because you want the sale. Never going back there again!

My past three trips to this store have ended in disappointment. My trip last night may be the final one. We were in the sewing area and of course there was no help this was around 6pm. I called the service desk from my cell phone and told them we needed assistance along with another couple. We waited 15 minutes and no one showed up. Similar thing happened about a month ago with my son and myself at the electronics area. Looks like we will be either Target customers or go to another store if we need to go to Walmart. They expanded this store to a Supercenter but seems like they did not hire to accommodate for this,

The "greeting staff", in particular, are intrusive and verbally rude, zealous in their suspicion and offensively accusing "stop and receipt-check" border patrol-like methods upon a customers exit of their store. The visible management, as well, often engage both other Wal Mart staff and customers alike in an often contemptuous and condescending tone of verbal interaction. There exists a terrible lack of professionalism and adequate social skill and courtesy amongst the majority of staff at this particular Wal Mart store. It is heartbreaking.

I want to thank the management at night I went in and bought a knife set that was 49.99 but on the box it had 19.00 so I got it along with some other little item. I got home thinking this little Bit of things could have cost me what it came out to be so I went back thou my receipt and noticed that the cashier charged me the 49.99 for it so I went back with my receipt and the box. And no other box had that prices on it but the gentleman in management honored it and I just want to say thank u to the management and wal-Mary for doing so.

Ever since they "remodeled" this store, shopping there is a nightmare. Theres no rhyme or reason to how merchandise is located, and the place is seriously under staffed, help is near impossible to find. Advertised items are often non-existent,recently nine different models of air conditioners were advertised as available in store, not only werent they there, not a single A.C. of any kind was in stock. Both the nearby Target and Best Buy had plenty of them available, theyll be getting my business from now on.

Always good prices but does not have enough checkouts open alot of the time employees tend to lie to customers with questions PLEASE BE AWARE IF YOU ARE RETURNING ANY ITEMS AND DO NOT HAVE THE RECIEPT WALMART GIVES YOU LESS MONEY THEN WHAT THE PRICE STICKER SAYS YOU PAID I ASKED THE EMPLOYEE WHY I WAS GETTING BACK AROUND 7.00 LESS THEN WHAT I PAID THE EMPLOYEE SAID WE DONT KNOW IF THATS WHAT YOU PAID EVEN THOUGH A PRICE STICKER IS ON THE ITEM i really was irritated about that

If this Super Walmart was cleaner + not so unattractive it would be a Five Stars store again. ☑Employees are Very Nice☑ Service is Good. But the Stores Appearances+ Cleaniness has Went down the Tubes As the expression goes! + besides these things, if There would be Layaways all the time this particular Super Walmart would make a lot more money for Themselves. Because their PRODUCTS certainly are SUPREME.

Very clean, always well stocked shelves and there is a much bigger selection of items to buy at this Wal-Mart then at the Exeter, PA Wal-Mart. I live crafts and they have a crazy department that is at least three times the size of the craft department at the Exeter Store. I love when I am in this area and can ship at this Wal-Mart instead of the one closest to my home.
