Hello, I am writing to you to formally lodge a complaint against your store # 341 in Scranton, PA. I went into this store today and was denied services that i paid for in full for 1 year, profiled, and made to feel like my life was being threatened by two associates. I was denied services by Richard when he refused to re-enter my computer to do the wipe and fresh install that I had originally asked for. I was also profiled by him, with his comment that every time I visit the store, I am a problem, when in reality I have never had any issues or ever asked to speak with a manager. Until today. Also, I felt threatened by the body language of another Geek Squad agent that the other reps were calling “Joe”. (I asked for his last name multiple times, but nobody ever gave it to me. However I was told that today was his last day and there were no other techs named “Joe” there.) He was pacing back and forth glaring at me with a look that was similar to an inmate waiting to hurt somebody. I am writing a review to let you know that the behavior of these 2 men, Joe and Richard, was completely and utterly unacceptable. I am extremely dissatisfied, and you could even say upset to the point of not wanting to come back to store # 341. Personally, the fact that I was denied services that I paid a full year for, is also unacceptable, and I should be reimbursed my money, or given an alternate to the amount that I paid for such terrible service, let alone the service being denied. This situation never should have happened in the first place, regardless of the level it escalated to. I hope that a serious amount of disciplinary action is taken to these associates Richard and Joe to the fullest extent possible.

Extremely poor customer service. Extended service contracts with Geek Squad are not worth the money or aggravation. Home theater system purchased in October 2012 and installed by Geek Squad with extended warranty-still waiting to have system repaired after 5 calls to Geek Squad and spending well over 2.5 hours on hold over the last 2 months- finally had repair scheduled and repair man finally arrived at house only to have him inform us that he could not perform the repair while TV was on the wall. He was unable to remove said TV since he was not covered under the repair contract. Never informed of this requirement by Best Buy- now informed by Best Buy that I am required to remove TV or Best Buy will remove it for $150.00 charge even though they were the ones that initially installed the TV mounting. Will NEVER purchase another product from Best Buy

I purchased a new laptop in February 16, I also got the protection plan with it. I was told I could throw my computer down a flight of stairs and get a new one with the protection plan I had purchased. My son managed to crack my screen and my charger port was loose, so I took the computer to have it fixed. It wasnt fixed properly the first time so I had to bring it back. The Geek Squad told me contact the manager so he can be made aware of the situation and they can try to make me a "satisfied customer". I called and spoke to the manager who rushed me off the phone stating hed call back in a few hours with an update - 2 days later I still havent received a phone call back or my computer!!!!

Bought a car mount for my phone which became impossible to remove, and the store would not exchange phone (thanks to a nearly invisible scratch from my attempts to remove it) or accessory BECAUSE of the badly made accessory being stuck to my phone. Ive spent thousands of dollars there over the past year, frequently buying things just because I was bored and felt like picking something up whether its a phone case or a tablet, but Im done. The whole "sorry, we didnt make the accessory ergo we dont care if it messes up" attitude just floored me. I was gearing up for another big splurge on Black Friday, now Im just going to Amazon. Good job, guys.

Ive been going to this Best Buy for over a decade now and Ive always had very positive experiences with both the products Ive purchased and and interactions with the staff and customer service reps. On average the prices will usually be more than what Amazon has to offer but the store is always very clean and enjoyable to snoop around for an electronic geek like myself. Lastly, this Best Buy will take almost any old electronic you have and dispose/recycle it for no charge, (you even get a rebate for turning in used ink cartridges)!

Went to Best Buy really not understanding the new Verizon upgrade system. Luckily, Adam, a specialty sales manager walked me through the entire process. He basically gave me a good perspective on what phone to upgrade too and why, while managing my price range. Got a new iphone 7 in about 30 minutes while he was more than helpful, with everything from phone specifications to protection plans to pricing. Will be coming back here when its time to upgrade again

I have bought a beat pill plus great service they match the price with Amazon I end up saying $50 on the pill I also purchase there few year back the beat studio wireless and the cushion ripped I took it back returned with no problems they gave brand new ones in also purchased the powerbeat 2 and 3 for a nice price great store thats why I gave them 5☆☆☆☆☆. Recommended to anybody you want to buy electronic go to best buy in Dickinson city.

Tried to return a defective smart watch received as a gift. Listened to a young man who was kind enough fully explain store policy (u r on your own after purchase) and give me the manufacturer 800 number. I was shocked by the indifference, but it was cute to see the girls in geek squad get a good laugh out of my situation. I fully understand why Amazon is taking over retailers like this. My last visit to a Best Buy.

Bet you didnt know that you cant return a broken television within a week without the little plastic legs that go on the bottom. The management was not helpful as the help sat behind the counter eating chips while there was smoke coming from my ears. I had to come back at a later time again, with broken tv to return it with the legs. Seems silly but they were not helpful at all. Turned me off of this place.

Absolute embarrassment for a company like Best Buy to operate this poorly. Employees didnt know how products worked(HDMI splitter). Employee in comp. dept didnt know how to use their system to see if they had an Ipad in stock(took him 5 minutes to look up an Ipad...). Geek Squad people were eatting food on the sales floor in front of the check out line...This store must have some really bad managers

I got my a Samsung flat screen as well as my Amazon Fire stick! Sales people are not exactly helpful because they were too busy talking to each other as I stood there for 20 minutes and researched the television specs on YouTube. I did go speak with the manager who was helpful but it was a little bit too late. The salesmen need to be more attentive and aware of client support needs.
