I went there looking for a fm transmitter for my car. I explained I had one before that i bought at walmart for 25 like 2 years ago and it could read mp3s directly from a flash drive and walmart no longer carries the same brand and I was looking for that particular brand. The employee basically told me to my face that i was crazy and i must be making up a story because according to him , the device i explained should cost three times as much. And then he went on to explain that there are expensive "mechanics" involved with converting mp3 to the sound you hear and how flash drives can only store data and not music (I guess he meant as opposed to analog tape). the point is, he was double-talking in a futile attempt to sound like he knew what he was talking about. Aside from dealing with this DB, Ive never had a problem before. They even let me return a camera my daughter dropped and broke the day after I bought it with a minimal hassle. I also know someone who has a tax exempt account with this store to buy dvds for a public library and she often has a hard time dealing with employees that werent trained on the proper procedure for tax exempt transactions.

i bought a kenwood car stereo at best buy dickson city with an extended warrenty.7 months after i bought the stereo it started saying protect on the screen.i took the stereo to best buy and thay told me that something was wroung with the head unit and thay had to send it back to kenwood to get fixed witch would take a month for them to get it back.so I have to go a couple of months with no car stereo because thay dont carry the same stereo in that store.Thay would not give me a simmiler one after spending 500 dollers.After about to weeks waiting on kenwood to fix the head unit i get 2 calls from the geek squad {jenifer and peter} saying that the store was going to make an exchange .when I get to the store nobody knows any thing about exchanging the kenwood.I live 50 miles away from the store and drove down there twice now and still dont have a car stereo in my car for 500 dollars.what a bargain .

A day of phone calls trying to check on a in stock item.. well anyway on that shows in stock online. placed on hold numerous times and then finally a promised returned call that never came from customer service. Solo the next day we went to the store to purchase the. items showing in stock... well this was a joke the only thing employees were worried about was the cell phones in there hands while texting on company time.... anyway they wasted a hour of my time to find out they have none in stock or does any other locations. after the aggravated experience we went to the competition 1/2 mile away to walk out in 12 minutes with there stock person loading our s.u.v.... this best buy needs a personal training class on customer care. Im now moved to shopping on line ...

Tried to buy a camera as a gift, on line. Paid for order with gift cards , went to store to pick up item as instructed. Got to store told item was not available. Decided to buy a TV instead. Went to pay for TV with the gift cards, told that cards had no balance. Tried to explain that card had no balance because of cancelled camera order...was told to come back later maybe gift card balance would reappear. Checked three days later still no balance on gift cards. Will avoid Best Buy in future and I will tell everybody else to do same.

I saw all the negative reviews and thought maybe I should skip this place but Im glad I did not. I purchased a high end car stereo and had it installed. The stereo was not stock but as soon as it arrived they let me know. The receiver came with the wrong face plate, they ordered the correct one and redid the install at no charge. The signal was week and the GS guy found a fix, non stock parts, but got them and did a third install, again no charge. They went out of their way to make me happy. Good place and good people.

Had a washing machine delivered, free installation, the guy would not install and wanted $30! Went on website and it states free installation, called and they told me they would have to schedule it, schedule it! They are here I told them, they said you have to schedule but it is free! Then I asked for a manager and she actually said well I am in a room with managers, really? Just plain stupid people!!!! I buy a lot from Best Buy, if they dont rectify I will contact better business bureau and never shop there again!

Good selection of items and shelves are typically well stocked. Lines can be a little long and the customer service area is pretty lacking. Store Pickup tends to take longer than if you had just grabbed the item yourself and checked out as they usually only have 1 person available to work the counter. Even when Ive noticed multiple people behind the counter, only one is usually tasked with Customer Service / Store Pickup which makes the wait time incredibly long if someone has an issue.

In the course of 48 hours, I was given five different prices for a power cord for my laptop. The first one seemed reasonable. I live in a rural area and it took me an hour to get to the store. Just like that, the price managed to nearly double. I called later to confront the store about my experience. The man I spoke to not only did not apologize or even attempt to make the situation right, I got the distinct impression that I was annoying him. If I could rate zero stars, I would.

went to my nearest Best Buy several times and Always had to ask for help. Then I took my brother to buy a computer and I told him" The sales people will be huddled together and we will have to ask for help" Sure enough I had to hunt one down. Plus I bought an Android phone and the "techs" knew less than me! Had to go back and tell them how to get unsupported e-mail through g-mail.totally clueless The staff seems TOTALLY uninterested.

Your typical big box electronics store with a wide range selection of TVs to smart phones. I have always found someone to help me when I have questions on products. When you are buying electronics you need to do your research and be informed before stepping into the store. Dont gripe when something does not do what you want as you went into the buying process clueless.

Service was horrible, many sales people all over but no one helped. I had to stand at register for 15 minutes before being waited on. The salesperson was not up on best buy promotions and could not answer questions.. He sent me to geek squad where took another 20 minutes to get a question answered. Only to find out item as out of stock. A complete waste of my time.

Dealt with 2 different associates at the store in a attempt to buy a laptop. First one showed 3 in stock, couldnt find them. Couldnt figure out how to order them. Customer service just as useless. Customer Serivce found out another store was getting 9 but didnt know about their own store. Dickson City no better, called them, told to call back during the week.
