Ive been to many Best Buys and a trend Ive noticed with them is getting a sales associate to approach you if you need help. Of course this wouldnt be a problem if you simply went up and asked for help but having them start the interaction can be a little tough. Dont be offended if they dont talk to you though, they may be running around, checking something for another customer, making sure to complete a request before taking on another one. The management is really friendly. The sales floor representatives are as well for the most part. You may find those who are unknowledgable, sassy, lazy, or unwilling to help, but they are few. Honestly, the store can be easily abused as some people are pushovers who just want to make a sale, people wont bother to check your price match sometimes, or old sales tags will have to be honored because they forgot to change the tag to the weeks new price but the store overall is helpful and reputable. Every department has that one guy who is not a manager but knows everything about that department, just look for that guy. 3rd party vendors like the Samsung, Amazon, or Apple reps are usually more helpful than the blue shirted employees, so find them when you can. Management will deliver when they are able to, usually have stock in, and employees are helpful. One of the better Best Buys Ive been to!

I will never shop there again. The staff is rude from sales, customer service and managers. I went there to buy a laptop that I saw online, onsale but when I got there I was told I was wrong about the price and the manager told the cashier to charge me full price. I ask the manager to go online and check for himself. He said he did and again said charge him the full price. I went back to where the laptops are and there was a sign with the sale price on it. I ask the manager to look but he was to busy. He told me to drive home, print out the webpage with the sale price and come back. I was in shock. During all this there was an elderly woman asking a sales guy about a product on a low shelf. The sales guy said its right there and pointed with his foot and walked away. I ended up helping the lady out answering all her questions about the keyboard & mouse. I told her to go to Walmart, same thing but cheaper. She was also disgusted with the service. I called Best Buy when I got home but was put on hold for 40 miutes total after being passed along to different reps. Someone in these review mentioned its because the help dont like their jobs because of the economy. I think Best Buy should be able to get very good help from people who need jobs.

Like many people on here, I use to go to this best buy a couple times a week a loved the place. I dont know what happened with management or their hiring department but this place has gone down the toilet. I only do pick up at the store now and that is a hassel in itself. Here are a few issues that the store is having. First is that I feel like a burden to the people working there by just trying to get help. Their customer service is so terrible that I rather deal with a machine. No one there smiles or remotely look like they are enjoying their job. The place is an organizational mess especially in the gaming and music department and they seem to never have things on the shelves. Finally there is no one ever around if you need help, its like they try to avoid you. This place is getting 2 stars only because I use to love the place. Amazon has to thank this best buy cause thats where Ive been buying most of my stuff. *Updated to 1 Star I recently pre-ordered a product and when I went to go pick it up on release day they were sold out. Are you serious? What is the point of a pre order system if you sell my product to someone that I wait over a month for. Ridiculous...

Hyperbole aside, I used to be in this Best Buy three times a week without fail. Id venture in to pick up a DVD and leave with five or six and other electronic toys. Every television in my house is from this Best Buy, my computer, two lap tops, DVD players, iPads ... you name it. That said, it has grown into an environment of workers who seem to literally try to impede your shopping experience and frustrate you. I think they go out of their way like its a game being played between the employees of "who can make this customer want to kill me the most". My last three visits have been to buy a computer, but an iPad Air and most recently, a refrigerator. I walked out on all three occasions. The customer service was horrid, I was given advice that actually completely wiped my old computer (including pictures of my children) and I can honestly say the only good experience Ive had there in the past three years has been Mike in car stereo. I added a second star only because I do not want to add hyperbole and say that the store has never been good. It once was. At this point I will simply shop elsewhere.

This Best Buy is my chapel. Im an amateur film maker and every time I go in there for something I need, the employees are very helpful and most of them very knowledgeable. Not once have I discussed a product and caught them making things up about it. Sometimes the sales can NOT be beat. I went in for a new camcorder and the $789 Sony AVCHD I wanted was on sale for $299, plus they only had the floor model left and sold it to me for $199. The same trip, we decided to replace the box TV in our bedroom and as my wife looked at TVs the employee pointed out they had an open box TV for almost half price. It was the perfect size and they even gave me 10% of the wall mount because the one I really wanted was out of stock (on back order I think he said) No biggie. The geek squad is very helpful in that store too. I went to a store elsewhere once and the geek squad just treated me like they were tech Gods and couldnt be touched and shouldnt be bothered... Springfield was spot on for customer service. In fact, Im going later today to pick up some stuff!

Well I have been going there years now, this is best buy so you dont expect much since they dont pay their employees well. Even though I usually understand their not so greatness I have to write this review because it was ridiculous... I went in last evening went to see if they have new iPhone 6 since their website cant for some reason ever show if they have them in stock or not. I went and stood in what I thought was the line (there was no one in front of me) and 4 of their "mobile" people just sat and ignored me, no greeting no eye contact no nothing. I waited for 5 minutes, they just all talked amongst themselves, with one employee just sitting in one of the customer chairs while they all chatted. I finally just walked out and got in my car, ridiculous!!! Thats the last time I will go into a best buy. They are slowly rotting away anyway and maybe it is a good thing that these stores will be gone in 3 years.
