Petsmart hurt my dog while getting groomed!!!!! I took my dog to get groomed to the Petsmart in Broomall. We had a 10 am appointment. I was told he should be done around 2pm. At 2pm I got a called from the groomer telling me she will finish grooming my dog in another hour. I asked why the delay she said he had an accident on the table. I asked what type of accident and she said he stepped on his poop while on the table. I found it hard to believe but I was busy at work so I did not questioned it. She said she had to bathe him again. 5pm rolled around and she still had not called. My sister stopped by the Petsmart to check on my dog. She saw him on the table still getting groomed and when she approached the groomer she was told "he has been scratching his eye we have been flushing it something might have gotten in it." His eye was shut and very swollen. My sister called me and I asked him to take him to the vet and I will meet her there. After the vet checked my dog, she said he had a large ulcer on his left eye which might have been caused with a sharp object. The worst part is that I suspect they hurt his eye at 2pm when they called me and they figure the swelling may improve over time. When it did not improve they put him back on the table to finish grooming him. What type of person hurts an innocent animal by negligence and then leaves him for hours sitting there in pain. Not to mention that when I spoke to the groomer she swore nothing had happened. How can you not notice poking a dog on the eye with a sharp object? Do you care that little about the dog. I imagine he yelped in pain. Why not give him the proper care. He needed to go to the vet right away instead they had him sit there for hours until my sister went to get him. We never got a called to tell us he was done getting groomed. He is now on eye drops and a pill to prevent him from loosing his eyesight. Hopefully he will heal and be back to be his normal self. This was only his third time getting groomed given he is still a young puppy. He will probably be traumatized for life not to mention he could loose his eyesight. I feel so bad and helpless. I wish I could take away the traumatic experience he underwent under the negligent hands of a groomer at Petsmart. I love my dog so much and watching him in pain breaks my heart. I expect my dog to get some care an attention while getting groomed; $80 should at least get him that much.

Moderately sized pet store. I liked how this Petsmart store was so cool and it contained a wide variety of treats, clothing, and essentials for your pets. The staff was friendly and professional. The grooming team was good for my brothers dog, but we were disappointed with the poor communication with the overall timing. Yet, in the end, the performance was commendable with how well-groomed and presentable my brothers dog appeared. This is a decent location for pet owners in the Springfield and Broomall region of Delaware County, Pennsylvania near Route 3.

I brought my pup in for a bath. Fro $16 they spent an incredible amount of time with him. He smelled great and had his nails trimmed. Well worth the price. As for products sold there, plenty of variety. Youll definitely find what you are looking for.

I was only in the shop for a quick visit but was still offered assistance by multiple associates. Ive gone to this location many times and have always had a pleasant experience. Good sales often on dog food.
