The Pet Zone is a great family owned and operated store! Out of all of the Pet Stores in NEPA this is my favorite for a couple reasons. They are always stocked with a nice selection of fish. Especially larger sized freshwater fish, like goldfish, koi, silver dollars, cichilds, Oscars etc. (Others stores only stock little tiny sizes of these species) They also have a large selection of saltwater livestock also. Every supply you can ever need for aquarium and pond keeping is also stocked. They have a huge tank with a large shark, and many nice display tanks. The staff is always friendly, and most importantly KNOWLEDGEABLE which is hard to come by in the world of pet chain stores, staffed with high school students. Bill is always willing to answer any questions you have. Well worth a visit! A+++++++

This is the true story of Pet Zone...Bill St. and Bill Jr. are the most knowledgeable people in NEPA for fish and pet care. Ive been to all the aquarium stores from Tobyhanna to Wilkes Barre. These guys are the most sincere and honest folks in the business and they DO NOT try to sell you useless stuff that you dont need or want for your hobby -- they truly keep it KISS (keep it simple stupid). They answer your questions plainly and knowledgeably and without any "nerdspeak". I call them once or twice a week and they ALWAYS make time for me and are happy to answer any and all questions.

Best pet store ever.the staff are always nice andhelp you with what you need and know a lot about the animals. they always have good prices and things you wouldnt find at other pet stores.pet smart though has high prices and dont take care of their animals.also they dont have anything unusual like pet zone .I come and get crickets there all the time and there cheap and they give me extra in case some die.I went to pet smart once andthe girl literaly counted all of them and charged me five bucks for twelve crickets.

This place is excellent and they have a large selection of animals including lizards,snakes,birds,guinea pigs,spiders,mice,turtles, a Lot of fish and Chinchillas.Me and my brother got a corn snake and it was so docile, calm and beautiful . We hade a really good experience there. The people that work there are generous , experienced and help full. The prices there were very great. I highly recommend the pet zone.☺

Bill Sr. and Bill Jr. are aquarium gurus that donate time to educate everyone on the best way to take care of any organism. They are a pleasure to be around let alone, to buy from. So impressed with how they take care of their customers. I watched them teach students "specific gravity" as well as coral growth specifications. Very impressed with this local gem.

Best pet store around! Amazing saltwater wish and great selection for dogs, small animals and reptiles! Pricing is amazing and the owners / employees are very friendly and they really know their stuff. LEarned alot from them! They dont just sell products they educate you on proper care and information on animals!

Have always gotten great service here and have never seen dirty enclosures or sickly animals, that can be common at the big box stores. They care about the animals. Questions are happily answered and if you have any problems they help whenever they can. Worth the trip everytime even just for a look around.

I love this pet store so much I make up excuses just to go! Theyve got just about anything youd need for reptiles, fish, and furry critters. Not only is it a solid business but the owner himself will give you great advice when your confused on something with your animal. I give it 5 stars all the way

This pet store is great! They have a humongous selection of animals and is like a zoo. I got a snake there and it has been a really calm docile and beautiful snake since. The people there are very nice and know whathat they are talking about. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

Beautiful selection of fish but very expensive. Can find the same fish much cheaper elsewhere. Customer service was friendly. Overall experience was pleasant just wished the pricing was better.

Not the best bang for ur buck. High prices on a lot of stuff. They usually have a bad attitude or seem arrogant...all the staff. I feel like Im getting swindled everytime I go there
