Lets clear a few misconceptions: - Company policy for associates to be professional and wear appropriate attire; non-discriminatory towards tattoos and piercings. Petsmart is an equal-opportunity employer. - Petsmart does price match. As long its the EXACT same item. Also Petsmart can use competitor coupons. - People whore hired here are hired for a reason. Expect them to be knowledgeable in either their animal knowledge or store operation. Each associate will know different things and some may know more than others. - If the animal dies after purchasing said animal, thats the CUSTOMERS fault; not the store. There are associates to tell you what you need to know as part of their job description and care guides in plain sight to tell you basic know-how for the pet of interest. However, if the animal dies within a 14-day period, you can return the animal by presenting its carcass or present carcass and exchange it. - As with any store, sometimes theres oh-so-much you can do but here, everyone will do everything they can to make sure youre all set. - The Humane Society of Rome handles the cats in the store. If you want dogs, you need to go to the Humane Society. Overall I go here for my fish, cat and dogs needs. Ill soon be a new owner of a reptile AND a bird, Ill prefer to get everything they need here. Why the four-star rating? Its not the stores fault, but more or less the customers you have to worry about.

Got my Dog Latte Groomed, they really take good measures on dogs nails and make sure not to cut them too short, they are friendly and usually always busy with dogs coming in and out from Opening to closing, they take their time to really get all the spots, Im 100% sastified my pooch smells good and isnt limping like the last time when I went to a different groomers that made her bleed. Plus there are stores around so you can shop while they are getting done! <3

They have pretty much anything for the most common types of pets from food to toys and bedding. Humane society usually has some cars available for adoption. Nice place you can bring your pet. They also offer a variety of classes for your dogs. Find their prices a bit on the high side.

I like being able buy online and pick up in store. Last time i shopped I received a discount on Seresto collars for my dogs. Between the sale price and discount, Pet Smart beat Wal-Mart prices.

Lots of more options then other stores but prices to high and they dont price match I want to pet supplies plus and got my dog food for $7 cheaper and a few other things I save a total of $17

Fantastic place, mainly for domesticated pets. Staff is very knowledgeable. Prices are great. Also has small grooming area Small adoption center for cats too.

Always have what we need, the service is good, the grooming staff is always friendly, however the grooming department needs cleaned up on most days.
