First time Ive ever written a negative review. I usually talk directly with a manager or whatever if I have a problem but after complaining once and having three more bad experiences after said complaint I feel I should try another approach in hopes that it might finally be addressed. Theres a certain customer service employee who is routinely rude in her actions and says rude things. today after another employee accidentally messed up on her register she was called over to help and she literally rolled her eyes at me. Then there was the time last month I returned an item and she said "this is why their prices are so high" so.. sorry people apparently Im the reason a corporation has the kind if prices they do.. there have been other less obvious rude remarks but these last two were boldly rude. I have the feeling Im not the only one after reading the other reviews. I have to wonder if its the same female.

Ive gone to this Safeway as long as I can remember. The prices are high even with a club card, so I usually shop at WinCo for groceries... But the reason I give this Safeway 5 stars is for the Pharmacy. Im in a pain management program and Ive never ever felt judged there, even when theres new employees. Ive tried different pharmacies and experienced some degree of attitude more often than not. If youve ever been in pain management programs you probably know what Im talking about. They treat me like a human, not an addict which is a simple assumption. The pharmacists at King City Safeway are very kind and get to know you personally. I see them once a month and they greet me like Im a friend... Its just a very nice experience every time. I moved to a different town recently but I decided to stick with this Safeway. Its a longer drive but Im okay with that.

My girlfriend worked at this store for two or three years and hated her job because of the autocratic, unforgiving dictatorship that considers itself management, which is a misnomer and should be considered doublespeak; its like calling a missile a "peacekeeper." The manager hates women his own age, discriminates against them, and prefers hiring attractive males for management positions. This is evident if you ever ask any of the females who work there. The guy demoted her for something trivial, and then gave her a performance merit the next week, after chopping her pay by more than 1/3, and cut her hours to the point she couldnt pay bills. If this location sucks, its because the management does, and thats why the employees are miserable. Also, the place is awkward, cramped, uncomfortable, and ill-equipped.

As a general rule I dont like to post to much as far as bad reviews that might affect a business but, Safeway is a giant company theyll live. There store is clean and well stocked but Ive had to many customer service issues. There are a couple employees whos lines I wont go through because of thier attitudes. Ive even spoke with the manager who was a fantastic lady but these employees are still around and its interesting to see them interact with other customers. Ill wait 10 minutes in another line even if theyre open right away. This is mainly for my sake. I have a low tolerance for rude disrespectful people and I may not be nice if I deal with them again. I Miss my Albertsons

The last two times I have gone in there, the items I bought were not ringing up at the club price. It was sixty cents this last time and almost a dollar the time before, but what if I was doing my monthly shopping and had a full cart? I cant take pictures of every club price Item in my cart, and I would like to trust that a store like Safeway would have their act together when it comes to issues like this. I like the convenience of having a grocery store within walking distance but I will gladly be driving farther up 99 to another grocery from now on. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

The sales, coupons, just4u, & personal deals from their app would cut their high prices down.....if they actually worked. Every time I shop there I have to keep a record & calculate my prices as I shop as it NEVER turns out right at checkout. So I have to show them the prices on the app. & go through my item/price list tally to adjust my total. Of you dont pay attention then youll always be charged more. If you have money to burn then dont worry about but if you dont want to pay extra then pay attention. Ive only had my total turn out right twice, 98% of the time Im over charged.

Extremely over priced. They also lack variety when speaking about the products they sell. When you first walk in it seems like a huge store. But dont let the actualize size of the store fool you. If you pay attention to whats on the shelf its all the same thing. Full Isles of the exact same product by the same manufacturer no veriety.

What I love about this location specifically are the checkers. Dan and Michelle rock. This is pretty much a typical Safeway. Theres some price gouging on some itema but largely it is competitive. Except for the quality of the organic bananas, I dont know what is going wrong there but whatever.

Hate this store and am very sad its the only regular grocery store within 5 miles. Checkout lines are always long, theres no self checkout, they dont carry the products I use. Gluten-free and organic selections are very limited and over-priced. Wish Haggen hadnt gone out of business.

Great store, helpful employees, clean and well-stocked, very accurate checkout (you get the price you expect). I also appreciate that the cashiers are equipped to write rainchecks so you dont have to wait again for customer service. A very customer-service oriented Safeway!

The people are friendly and helpful. A Starbucks is just inside the door. A small bank is inside. Theres a floral area, some misc. garden and outdoor items outside, and a huge selection of fresh food inside. Also, you can recycle all your plastic bags here. ☺️

They have no employees and the ones they do have working are always really creepy and goofy. Plus they dont have self check-out we are not all buying a kart full of groceries. There prices are insane...i highly reccomend going anywhere els...

What once was a great store has turned into another Walmart. No customer service. Deli is impossible to get service IF THEY EVEN HAVE FOOD TO SERVE! Employees are over worked and under managed and the attitude shows. Sad to see.

I live right next door and refuse to go to this safeway. Poor customer service, high prices, and no automatic checkout! Wtf get with the 21st century. I dont want to wait behind someone with a full cart when I need 3 items

It has delicious food at their deli, such as breakfast burritos. They also provide a wide variety of groceries. The deli, however, makes me feel sick afterwards and they only serve burritos until 11.

Good all round go to grocery, especially in King City since the Albertsons closed. Prices not as good as Freddie and selection not as good as New Seasons, but overall much to offer.
